Your unessential essentials

I was just wondering what everyones unessential essentials were that they take to festivals? Basicly what do you take with you that you dont actually need but it makes everything so much easier/ better or something that you see someone else has and think thats brilliant I need one of them for next year. For example mine are

Cool bag filled with Ice and frozen juice cartons (keeps beer and food cold for the full 5 days)

Glow sticks

Sack truck

Flag pole and flag for campsite

What are everyone elses?

I came across that site through these forums, which goes to prove that not all ads are useless lol.

I need to sort something out to cool my beer too, I bought a so called beer cooler last year (quite a cheap one £4) and some gel packs which I'd frozen b4 I left for the festy .. by the time I'd got there the gel packs had melted and my beer was not that chilled.

So, yeah lol a flag and a beer cooler is essential for me this year.

I wouldn't dare take my ipod, I doubt it would be stolen but I'd end up leaving it out at night, forgetting where I'd hidden it or breaking it. Crappy CD player and copied CDs all the way for me!

Me too! I have been trawling the mammoth trolley threads for the best buy. I reckon I'm going to go for B&Q coupled with poundland bungee cords.

I used to take a massive towel for the porch bit of the tent, helps keep the tent clean and dry when muddy!

cost 35.99 from costco and was the best buy ever. Held loads everything still cold on sunday morning, i gaffer taped loads of stuff to the top when coming from and going to the car. AND it doubled up as a handy little table.

i forgot one thing and thats a roll of plastic pallet wrap, so much better than bungee cables on a truck no chance of anything falling off and anything small thats left just stick it somewhere and wrap it to everything else job done.
