I used to really detest this band, now they've become something of a guilty pleasure, quite like the vid thats doing the rounds on kerrang at the mo (even though I feel I shouldnt) and downloaded "move along" and "Dirty Little Secret" for Rock Band.

I would watch them if clashes allow.

Out of interest has there been any pop punk on the mainstage in a non headlining capacity (offspring) apart from Bowling for Soup?

Only others I could think of were Sum 41 second headlining in 2004 to Linkin Park.

Edit: Emo, as is always the case, doesn't count. :P

Crazy Town did suck. But Butterfly is a summer song. I'm trying to think of pop punk bands I would like to see at Download that I can just dance round to near the back with a beer.

And Butterfly was the only song I could think of :P

The only good part of Butterfly is stolen from Red Hot Chili Pepper's "Pretty Little Ditty", for those of you who weren't aware....it starts about 2 minutes in on this video

mmmm, just listened to their myspace, really not for me. but hey, then again, Bowling For Soup in 2007 were brilliant for sunny afternoon party music! but these guys don't sound as much fun as B4S.

and god no, not Crazy Town!!! surely no-one wants to see Shifty Shellshock(!) and co back on the scene? :(

Seen All-American Rejects twice, don't mind some of their songs - particularly 'The Last Song' and 'Dirty Little Secret' - but their new single is terrible, in my opinion. Really don't like it. Don't know if I'd go see them a third time.

I'm still really annoyed there will be no NFG.

I'm still hoping for a decent P/P band but I am beginning to think I may be hoping a little too much... as it is there are 3 bands I actually want to see now - though I have seen AAR before and they didn't really strike me too much.

JEW last year were good, but not as good as they were in 07 playing second to AFI at GIAN.
