Couldn't give a toss about Arctic Monkeys or KOL, but if the Radiohead rumour pans out I'l be very excited. Not as good as the RATM/Metallica double we were treated to last year, but Radiohead would almost make up for that...

Only thing I would say is if it is indeed those 3, there won't be much diversity in the bands fanbases. Will be interesting to sree how the rest of the lineup pans out as I can see Reading loosing quite a few punters to Download

And sonisphere for that matter. Download tends to suffer slightly from being during the school exam period, it (might) have done better last year if it was in August.

The other thing worth remembering is that Glastonbury actually sold out this year, meaning if those are the three, fewer of that crowd are going to be able to afford a second festival.

Thanks for that, but the fact is that Glasto have booked an artist that really does justify some big festival hype (maybe a second one not far behind with Neil Young) and at the momet Reading/Leeds do seem to be lagging behind.

I've bought tickets for both Reading and Glasto and from what I'm hearing at the moment, the Reading rumours are leaving me feeling very underwhelmed. Where as I'm more excited by Glasto at the moment than for any other festival I've been to.
