I've done 97,98, and 2007 so had enough of the mud thanks! (thankfully missed out on 2005)

Even last year had one muddy day, so we're long overdue a mud free festival. The last totally mud free glasto was 2003. I say bring on the dust! :)

Calm down dear, it's a freebie site :P

Metcheck have a widget thing you can stick on your website which tells you the current weather prediction for anywhere, any time. Of course, more than a week or two away the prediction is complete nonsense, but excitingly it does change from day to day! Mine is here if you fancy a peek. Not looking good currently, but check again tomorrow and it will be all sunshine, it's that random!

I think it's partially a state of mind.

If it hadn't been for some of the rain and mud in recent years, I never would have done half of things, or met half of the interesting people, that I did/met.

The thing about the mud/rain for me is, if it happens, you have to accept it and make the best of the situation. But given the choice between mud or dry/hot/sunshine anyone that says they would choose mud is a certified mentalist (I'm not suggesting you would by the way)...It's a no brainer

    • I agree with £410. Looking at the rate of minimum wage increases which will drive a lot of the cost.
    • Avril is the massive crowd pleaser headliner that would sell well on her own.    MGK as lead act would probably be a don’t buy tickets and do a day at trees instead for our group. Given second stage will be heavier and not our sort of thing.   Turnstile would be class. I’ve wondered before if there’s enough crossover for an Idles performance but would think not quite right.
    • Is Zara Larsson even touring next year? Seems like she'd need new music to extend her tour.
    • Given the assumptions and little bits around Madonna, that BST and Paris post is probably right (few weeks later than the original post).   Just adds to the speculation that - they thought they had Madonna, and now they don't.   I can see what's gonna happen here - they end up booking Oasis and Fontaines for 2028. I don't get a ticket, and have to get out of the country + delete all socials.   That would end me if it happened and I wasn't there.
