Would be nice to see the Space Ritual Hawklords performance, and have Gong as support - like the olden days! Not sure it'll happen though

I seem to have been recently playing a lot of the old 'Space Ritual' stuff from '73 - by gum they don't make music like that any more - pure psychedelic warriors - excellent !!!

Superb live album, driven along my Lemmy's bass, check Orgone Accumulator too Any kids wishing to take up bass should listen to this album from start to finish as a Masterclass in bass playing by Lemmy.

Still in my top three favourite albums of all time - bought on the day of release in '73 and still sounding fresh, thrilling and completely invigorating 35 years later. You simply have to own a copy of Space Ritual or you might as well be a plankton.

Acquired it 3 weeks ago, as a Hawkwind novice. It is rather good. Funny how the bass, quite possibly the best bit, kept me jogging across the cold pre-snow evenings.

Great albums, all different and reflect the line-up's and the evolutionary state of the band was in.....

Alien 4 is also brilliant in my humble.
