I'd like to see Sea sick Steve,a 2tone compilation in the afternoon then George Benson playing his Breezing album, real cool jazz guitar as the sun sets then finish off with Pete Doughty and his band of misfits, then have Rolf Harris creep on right at the end and say "Can you guess what it is yet?" ;)

A number of bands that have been requested for big top have already been snapped up by the Bestival [bands don't often play both festivals on the IOW], although almost 3 months after IOW they annouced their line-up this week.....

"Groundbreaking influential electronic pioneers Kraftwerk formed in Düsseldorf in 1970 are the Saturday night headliners, their appearance is a UK festival exclusive. Headlining the Friday night will be trip hop stars Massive Attack, and the Sunday night headliner is yet to be announced.

New York, Space-rockers MGMT are also confirmed with one of only two festival appearances this summer. Other acts announced today include Fleet Foxes, Seasick Steve, Klaxons, Bat For Lashes, Michael Nyman, The Beat, Squarepusher, The Future Sound Of London, and Little Boots.

The line-up for the 14 stages, continues with Friendly Fires, Florence & The Machine, Bjorn Again, Fujiya and Miyagi, Metronomy, Dub Pistols, James Yuill, Free Peace, VV Brown, Chase & Status, Golden Silvers, Goldie Lookin' Chain, Kitty Daisy & Lewis, The Cuban Brothers, dan le sac Vs Scroobius Pip, Ebony Bones, Altern8, Passion Pit, 65DaysofStatic, and Beardyman."
