thomasowen
Really no band is officialy out of the question yet and you could list bands that probably wont play forever and ever. Muse, Foo Fighters and Oasis are three that have been thrown around a lot despite being extremely unlikely (muse and foos have ruled out festival shows this summer and Oasis are all but confirmed for IOW, plus stadium shows)

tom.a7x
Avenged Sevenfold are looking very doubtful for a return to make up for this year, heading into studio to record new album in mid 2009

vikinggriff
it's part of the bands contract that if they play V they can't play Reading/Leeds and if they play Reading/Leeds they can't play V, so no, they can't play both. dakyras
i'm sure bands have played both before, fitting in a special guest slot because there had to keep it quiet till after v

Calm Like A Bomb
Well it seems to me Biffy have been doing the same show for years now already.. and it's been getting more stale every time, so perhaps it's an idea to stay away for a bit.
