Been offered a place for the London Marathon with my firm's chosen charity. Just waiting to hear if I can get accommodation at my brother in law's for the weekend. Buzzing!

Given the price increase, how are we expecting it to affect the ticket sales times this year then? Similar sell out times to previously given the deposit has remained the same with perhaps more tickets in the April resale is where I see it heading.

It doesn't. I know of people who live 10 miles from the festival site who have traveled to Manchester in order to get the coach back!

Finally arrived and it was the usual rejection. Does anyone know how the whole running on behalf of a charity works? The target amount has always put me off given it's usually £2k+ Presumably they are satisfied if they can see you've put in the effort to get close to the target even if you don't reach it?

Because there's still an angsty 15 year old inside me who remembers the utter joy had from listening to Mardy Bum in the 6th form common room having downloaded it pre-first album release on Limewire feels let down. I'll stop now 😂

Purely based on their latest two albums I'd say there's an enormous argument to be had on if we'd have ever heard of the Arctic Monkeys without the albums which preceded them. Fight.

This was before that I think, I can't even remember the year. All I can remember was it was a wet and the only comfort I took from the situation was that I was in the dry.

The ticket price is one thing but I can't wait for the reaction when they announce a restriction on the amount of alcohol we can take in. Let us not forget, they tried doing that before...

I've completely written them off in terms of new music now. Both the last album and the stuff released so far from this one is so far from I've enjoyed from those previous to it.
