Emily was on R1 a year ago tomorrow and confirmed Little Simz. Maybe worth keeping an eye on the schedules of the BBC radio stations to see if there's anything similar lined up over the next couple of weeks. Not sure how far in advance of it actually happening we knew of Emily's interview?

Nope. I'd hazard a guess that it probably won't either without either some strong supports announced or reduced priced tickets.

I'd take 3 nights of GnR over 3 minutes of Bad Bunny. And I don't even like GnR.

At this point that would be the only enjoyment i'd take out of any announcement of them headlining.

Official announcement by the end of today seems extremely likely once the world wakes up and the media get on to this.

I’ve just got electricity put in the garage. I’ve got loads of fitness equipment (dumbbells, kettlebells, pull up bar etc) so once I’ve had a clear out of shite & got some decent flooring down in there I’ll be hitting that most evenings as well. Glastonbury 19 I weighed 75kg. I now weigh 88kg. Determined to get to 80kg by June.

Well, I really didn't want it to be Kendrick as I was firmly Team Swift so given that you could probably put your money on GnR headlining given I'm firmly Team anyone but them this time around!

A year ago today I go the Macca & Kenny Info. A year ago tomorrow was when I posted it: Fingers crossed for some movement soon.

FWIW I think we'll see a Dave Grohl acoustic set with him guesting as drummer with QOTSA rather than a Foo Fighters headline. The other less likely thing I've leaned towards is a headline set from Foo Fighters & Friends. Lars Ulrich will be on site as he's fallen in love with the place since Metallica headlined so I don't think it would be too much of a leap to see him come on with James Hetfield and do a Metallica song or two. Likewise other artists coming on a la Macca's set last year to guest on a few Foo's songs / do their own. I certainly don't think that as an idea is inconceivable.

Let's hypothetically say that the 2020 & 2021 festivals took place which meant it was 6 years + 4 festivals since the Foo's last headlined. What would opinion be on them headlining again in 2023? Same as now? Slightly more acceptable?

Out of curiosity more than anything but what are the terms that are most palatable for an artist to return to headline again? Are years enough? Does there have to be a chart topping album? You get my drift.

AM are the one who have consistently been named from everyone who has heard / been told so I’d be immensely surprised if they weren’t headlining. GnR makes most sense if the final slot is a shootout between them and Foo’s and to be honest up until yesterday there was nothing to suggest Foo’s were even active this year but having said that it does put them slightly back in to the picture especially given I was told back in December they were going to be at the festival & that came from the same place I had the AM tour info / venues from (which turned out to be correct) I’m not championing what I’ve been told over what anyone else has put on here and as I’ve said before I think it won’t be a headline set from the Foo’s because of the same reasons everyone else. FWIW even though it was only 2 festivals ago I’d take Foo’s over GnR a million times over.

GnR on the face of it should be a strong booking but I just can’t get behind it myself. Would 100% be elsewhere. Having said that I’m going to choose not to believe this to make myself better.

Secret Sets might become a thing of the past given there was issues raised by the council following the usual review of the festival due to acts being placed on stages considered too small for the audience which was expected to attend. I know this isn't specifically a secret sets related thing but given wrists were slapped it might signal a change of course in that regard.
