  1. Slowthai might not be playing at all...
  2. I think I'll be sailing murky waters if I was to win given the customer is technically my firm rather than myself but worth a bash.
  3. Do you think it's okay if your work issued mobile phone is Vodafone...?

    Glastocam!

Did the London Marathon with the operations manager of serious stages this year. Well on behalf of the same charity at least. She ran it a lot quicker than me!
  5. Have circled the flag for ease of reference
  6. Being a Leeds fan this has all become reminiscent of when Bielsa took over in 2018. You seem like a breath of fresh air @eFestivals
  7. Iggy Iggy Iggy can’t you see Sometimes Neil’s posts just mystify me And I just posted here to say This thread is a joke, clear up the mess he’s made.

Is this any better than the YT version? https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV1Mt411J7Gc/?spm_id_from=333.337.search-card.all.click
  9. Quite possibly but there does seem to be a different vibe in the build up this time around. It doesn’t look like I’m the only one who has felt that either. I’m not sorted entry wise. As it stands I don’t have a ticket. However, I have irons in the fire. Likely if the stars were to align and I find myself on the farm it’ll be a last minute “get to site in the next couple of hours and we can get you in” sort of call I’ll receive. Must admit it’s added a new complexity to it all and is actually making me quite excited! I’ve got the Friday of the festival booked off so watch this space.
  10. Good summary. It definitely doesn’t have the same build up feel to previous years for me either.
  11. If indeed this is true then it’s a massive case of the festival disappearing up its own arse. Fucking rubbish. Extra £50 a ticket / £6million overall and the ship looks like it’s sinking.
  12. When we used to camp "inside" we were always in Top Webbs Ash. Right where the red X is below: I think the last year we camped there was 2011. Then everyone got older, got a bit of money and bought vans etc so we've been in the East Campervan Field's ever since. We were lucky last year through contacts to get the vans setup right in the corner (had the benefit of hedges & could form a proper camp) in E23 the weekend before the festival. I'd anticipate this being the same this time around albeit minus me!
  13. I honestly think a better idea is to befriend someone in the camperfields and pitch your tent up (with their permission) next to their van for the night then just get up early on the Weds morning and pack it away. If having to pack up a tent in the early hours is an issue you could kip in a pop up tent, get up early and join the queue leaving the pop up where it is. Get on to site pitch your actual tent then go back to pack up the other one. By doing this you could even split your load over 2 trips etc. Just my 2 pennies worth...
  14. I respect the hustle but anyone arriving by car on the Tuesday evening and getting in the queue must be fucking insane. Honestly can't even fathom the mentality this takes.
  15. What rubs it in even more is the fact I’ll be a mile from site on the Sunday before the festival for my Wife’s granddads annual birthday meal. Usually not a problem and only adds to the excitement but this year it’s going to hit different 😭
  16. Received the email yesterday which only served as a reminder that I’m not going to be paying it off this time around. The pain is real.

    Headliners 2023

Thursday Afternoon's Alright (For Fighting) or at least that's what I think it's called. Or that could just be the last few pages of this thread's influence on my brain.
  19. Taking my 3yo Daughter for the first time. She didn't stop wearing the tshirt I bought her last year for months. Waking most mornings saying she wanted to put her Glastonbury tshirt on. I'm very excited to take her to the kids field on Thurs. Many of my friends have older children & have been taking them for years so I have been in there many times but it'll be nice to go in there this time around with a child of my own. I'm also looking forward to going with less pressure on myself. I've always gone at the earliest opportunity previously be that first thing on a Wednesday morning (pre-Tues opening) and these days on a Tuesday morning with friends in caravans / campers. I'm going to rock up Thursday AM with the little one this year so once I get her offsite on the Thurs evening I'm looking forward to the adult "playtime" starting later rather than full throttle for basically a week!
  20. It did go to show that they clearly have enough confirmed to put out a poster that early though. Zero reasons not to get it out early March from now on IMO.
