  1. The organisers have emailed to say just turn up and we will get you in. I asked whether we would collect at first gate or park up and sort at the main gate, and if they are expecting us to pay for parking again if its the latter and they basically said they havent sorted the specifics out yet, which doesn't fill me with confidence in all honesty So we've now got a 4 hour drive up from Brum on the off chance we might get into the festival.
  2. Had issues previously with them but not this bad. The tickets they claimed were sent yesterday are still not even with the post office! (not just mine, at least one other person on Twitter with same issue). Their customer service is non-existent.
  3. Mate...I'll be bollocking down my entire 4 days worth of ale in the first hour if we actually manage to get in!
  4. Yeah will have to. To be fair the organisers did say they had spoken to Seetickets and they had said theirs were all sent last week which is a blatant lie.
  5. FFS! Just had an email saying they put the tickets in the post today, except the tracking number doesn't work which means the post office doesn't have them yet. So what was all that BS about the last ones being posted early last week? Fuming!
  6. I always think the definition of an optimist should be somebody who pays for an ice cream van pitch at a UK festival.
  7. FFS...finally looks like the ticket issue is being sorted now they are forecasting bloody rain! Don't mind a bit of rain to be fair...particularly at night when back in the tent. The rain on the Friday in particular at the last Beautiful Days was a bit much. I remember a Kendal Calling where it literally rained non-stop for the whole 4 days...I was there on the Sunday, watching Tom Odell (not through choice, my chair was sinking so far into the mud I didn't have the energy to try and pull it out and move) thinking 'I'm too old for this shit'. Athlete stopped halfway through their set to do a running commentary on people at the back of the main stage who were sliding down the hill in the mud.
  8. I don't think they realise you can't get a response from Seetickets. Obviously the BD staff will have a contact there that we don't have access to. I did receive a response from Seetickets after a week but is was a generic 'tickets for this event are being despatched contact us if you haven't received them 48 hours before the event'. From what I can see Seetickets haven't responded to a single message on FB or Twitter. Would be surprised if BD, Bloodstock etc use them next year given the problems people have had. Its massively damaging to their reputation. I doubt very much we will do BD again, certainly not through Seetickets. Was massively relieved when I checked who I had booked Bearded Theory through for next year and it wasn't Seetickets. Just glad they (BD) have finally acknowledged there is an issue and they working to resolve it, just a shame it took so long to get them to take it seriously.
  9. Not sure if you guys are on Twitter but finally felt like got somewhere yesterday. The festival have emailed Seetickets about my and two others who's tickets are still not being being shown as sent but have basically said we won't miss out. If you've still not had any joy might be worth replying to their tweet and hopefully they will sort for you at the same time.
  10. Cheers mate...beyond caring now to be honest! Just looking to see what else is on next weekend now instead. Have a great festival!
  11. Yeah...totally up for this one. Did my timetable yesterday (to be fair with only 3 stages and one of them I have no interest in I don't really need it). Lovely site as well, was there for Bigfoot in June. Happy days!
  12. If this doesn't get a response I am done to be honest...not prepared to waste anymore time trying to sort it out having sent multiple emails to both the festival & seetickets and god knows how many tweets, only to get told to email them (already have) or they are in the post (no they're not) I will just ask for a full refund on Wednesday if I've not had any response.
  13. Yeah saw them at Bearded Theory and they were decent...my other half loved them so she is well happy Shame about Dubioza Kolektiv but we thought they were unlikely to make it.
  14. Thanks, worth a try. Nobody else seems to be responding.
  15. All over this on social media. The issue from what I can gather is Seetickets have told the organisers they have sent all the tickets, which is clearly not the case. My order status still shows as 'Tickets will be sent by special delivery...' One guy had a despatch notification on the 6th Aug with a tracking number, he spoke to the post office who said that parcel hasn't been handed to them yet. Absolute farce. Have emailed the festival twice and no response and don't even think about trying to get in touch with Seetickets Juat really poor all round. I know if we get in we'll have a great weekend but to be honest this has really put me off booking Beautiful Days again.
  16. Yep, same here. Beautiful Days appear to think its a postal issue, however on Seetickets it still shows they haven't despatched mine. My guess is we will end up collecting on the gate
  17. Hope you're right. Still a few of us that havent heard a sodding thing! Plus can't get a response out of the festival organisers (after they said Tuesday the last tickets were being posted out that day) Completely given up on Seetickets, got more chance of getting a response from my grandad (and he has been dead for 8 years) Poor really.
  18. Big Joanie are fantastic...well worth catching
  19. Wristbands just came through...the kids one though is just one of them you write a phone number on...is that right or do they get one like the adults?
  20. Brill. Our first time, wasn't sure about the booze in the arena thing so thats helpful mate thanks. That said, can't beat a nice cold ale poured on the day. Was kinda hoping it would be shit as don't want another 'must go to' festival but good line up, camp next to your car, own booze in the arena, and cheap...could be added to the Bearded Theory and Beautiful Days 'must book' list.
  21. Wednesday at the latest really. If they are not here by Tuesday I'll have to ask the organisers to let me collect on the day. Bit of a faff but I think I can speak for all of us when I say we bloody need this weekend!
  22. My brother in law is at Bloodstock and just called me, apparently food prices have shot up (he has been going to and working at festivals for years so not like he is a festival virgin surprised at the prices) Might be due to fewer food stalls being prepared to gear up right at the arse end of the festival season, or Brexit, or Covid, but think might be worth taking a few extra quid or few extra packets of Quavers just in case.
  23. 'The Chocolate Noddy Winners'?
  24. Not yet mate but congrats! I'll keep checking!
