They probably feel that nobody would have an interest in a handful of those artists playing even though it would go off well. They should never care about "looking like" another festival when it comes to similar bookings cause its gonna happen anyway.

There was an old exploit from 10 years ago that surfaced again and a lot of people used it to their advantage. It was fairly simple to do if you followed the instructions. And of course there is rampant use of bots and people who pay somebody to get them tickets, but nobody would ever admit to such tactics even though its probably prevelant.

Cause the festival needs to figure out how to make money so it can actually function in its current state? And what do you mean how? Its relatively simple. They announce the ticket price and then inform you that you will also pay that extra money on top. If you are glamping or staying in worthy view/sticklinch then you dont pay that on balance day because you will have to provide proof that you are going that route. Since the festival is non profit how do you expect them to keep the lights on. At the rate the ticket increase is going anyway its going to be another £100 by 2030, but thatll barely keep them functioning due to costs.

But the thing is it doesnt take that many actual people to sell the fest out. If you get the max 6 tickets that means only 20,000+ actual people have to get in and hit the purchase button. Think how different it would be if the limit was 2. The thing is with such high demand you normally decrease the limit. Im sure if they had been allowing a max of 10 tix at a time there wouldve been a huge outcry as to why thats being allowed. I think after this sale, next year is going to see an even larger number of people using a hack/bot/paid and such to get their tickets and be happy with paying a premium to guarantee tickets. Figure if See and Glasto see this becoming rampant theyll have to figure something out to get ahead of it. I swear if everyone did that this it would sell out in 15 minutes. I think that would set off some alarms.

It was just over £400 last year. Price of doing business. Wait until they make you pay an extra £50 just to camp regularly. Shouldnt be too far off. Coming from out of the country I didnt mind forking it over to have a relatively quieter place to sleep, showers and such. Except if they explain why it was done then nobody is going to call them the bad guy. This happens all the time with major onsales anyway. They go back and review any suspicious purchases and cancel orders. So if they cancelled say 10,000 tickets bought via an exploit and they clearly figured out why/how it was done then they can admit they had a gap in security but also the resolve to take action if you try such a thing. Then theres precedence in the future that if you try this sort of thing youre going to lost your ticket. Who cares about the money, theyll get it one way or another. Again, most people on here arent going cry foul with all this cause they mightve done it themselves.

Everyone can simply say the same line of "used my auto refreshers and got in on my laptop from 2004" and nobody will raise an eyebrow. The Host file of 10 years ago was a boon and i saw lots of people on here jump for joy cause they figured it out. Time changes people and theyll be willing to be a little evil to get a ticket. And theres people who pay somebody to get them their tickets. Its worth an extra £200 to guarantee your ticket.

Wont close unless a new ticketing company is used. Lets see everyone try ticketmaster and literally have the queue pop up and tell you your position. And maybe lower the ticket limit. Even if its 4 tickets instead of 6 that would make tickets last a little bit longer.

Probably not. Theyll keep the main bones of the show in there cause as mentioned above, the new material keeps things uptempo and such. I mean a special guest would be the route they go most likely again. They probably wont do anything with the first 2 albums til they turn 25 which is coming up quick.

Like Coldplay has a 2 1/2 hour show now and the "good" songs get done acoustic on their b stages. So maybe if they cut the music of the spheres stuff and play those other songs full band itll be nice. They really should try to bust out deep cuts from the first 3 albums just to spice it up. At least they know to cut all the filler out from a prior release when they put a new record out. But they should stop putting out new records anyway. The one good thing is they arent stuck with their production so maybe theres variety. But thats asking for too much. Maybe if they knew it was their farewell or last ever glasto they would appease people.
