  1. Still waIting for my tickets. Sherlock’s way to small to headline. If that’s the only replacement they can get, then surely they will slot them in the lineup further down and bump someone else up to headline. Would be a nice addition but headline! The James Heritage Live even has them in small writing with FEEDER, MAXIMO PARK & THE SNUTS above.
  2. Another potential clash. It's going to be a day of difficult decisions.
  3. That would explain that and yes very niice to have some space. I had empty seats next to me and my partner and room to dance 🙂
  4. It might be pot luck who you might have got going in as to what checks took place. I had my id in my wallet and covid pass saved to my phone but never needed. There were a lot of empty seats and no surprise as when the tickets went on offer, staff may not have known what shifts they would be on. A lot of tickets ended up being wasted for a "sold out" event.
  5. Top notch stuff with plenty of guests. One in particuar was a real surprise and personnel favourite of mine. Won't say who for those who like a surprise (Anyway its easy to find out for those who want to know who guested) I lucked out and got block 101 seats, front row. Great mix of songs new and classics and great atmosphere. Sure you will have a blast. From a practical point of view it was a little odd. I went through O2 priority que always smoother. No check I was NHS or Covid status. I had my bits such as glasses, sanitiser, phone etc in a clear bag, put it on the table and went through scanner and no further security check just waved me on. The new clear bag policy was odd with lots of people being sent to get their bags deposited/locked away and wondering around with their stuff in clear plastic bags but clearly some people still had normal bags on them and in some cases biggish ruck sacks. Enjoy tonight.
  6. Total madness. My partner looked for clear bags on-line last night and a few did reference WWE approved and other American Sports. So does sound like that is indeed the origin of these rules.
  7. Hi Did not know where was best to post this but if you are going to O2 Arena it looks like they have a new clear bag policy. Only got the email today as I have O2 tickets booked in the future. Can't say I have seen this advertised at other venues. The small bag policy has been knocking around for ages at gigs but this is new to me. Worth knowing about if you are heading to the O2. Our bag policy It’s better for everyone if you do not bring a bag at all. We will not allow large bags into the venue but you will be permitted to take small clear bags in with you, to allow for contact free bag checks. We class small bags as no larger than 35cm x 40cm x 19cm. If you have to bring a large bag with you, you can leave it at our bag storage facility just outside the main entrance to The O2 at a cost of £10 per bag. All bags will be searched and screened before being accepted into the bag storage facility. Bag storage closes 30 minutes after the end of the event. We won’t hold your items overnight, so you must pick them up before the facility closes.
  8. Going to miss the Olympics once it finishes tommorow. Been working from home so have never seen so much coverage or listened to so much before as I have the TV in the background while working. Been getting up early to put it on every morning and has become a big part of my life for 2 weeks and team GB have done us proud. Thankfully, I have plenty of concerts/festivals over the next few weeks to fill that void of entertainment.
  9. Thanks for posting the pic. It helps build the excitment that this is going to happen. Really looking forward to this.
  10. Did you ever find out if they have support?
  11. I was dissapointed when he was not rolled over on to this years lineup. From memory, I think he was lowish down on the poster with Royal Bloob, Nile Rodgers and another not rolled over Bombay Bicycle Club higher up. Would love him to play but would seem a bit cheeky to have him replace Ashcroft when previously he was much lower down on the 2020 lineup. Most of the obvious sized replacements seem to be tied up at Reading/Leeds or are already playing Vicrotious on other days. Manics seem a good choice but as they were on the 2020 poster but not rolled over that would suggest it will not be them. Others I thought of are Primal Scream, Sterophonics, Courteeners or even New Order. Hopefully, we will not have to wait to long to find out.
  12. Yeah, I'm sure they will sell well just thought it odd that its only been announced recently. I am used to indoor shows been announced by artists with little notice but outdoor shows are often on sale months in advance of the event.
  13. Royal Blood have been added to Eden Sessions on 14th September. I wonder if they were a possable for Equinox if that had went ahead? The tickets go on sale 13th August, not long lead time for an outdoor gig. https://www.edensessions.com/lineup/royal-blood/
  14. That was a good show and my first back and first at Dreamland. As Beans said the security search on the way in was a bit much especially as I carry a small medical kit due to underlying health issues. They spent ages going through it and my bag. Loved Frank & Beans on Toast and as @sisco said shame Beans clashes with Royal Blood at Victorious. Pet Needs were also fun and sure they will turn up on many a festival under card in the coming years.
  15. Has anyone heard anything about them ahaving an App for this year?
  16. Yeah, a bit pricey. I ended up going for tickets towards the back of the balcony. Still worked out about £63 a ticket including the fees.
  17. Hi Some interesting names over various London venues. More stand alone concerts really rather than festival. I think its the first edition in London, the original festival used to be in Chicargo which has a strong line-up for 2021. This version might be of interest to London based members.
  18. My partner came axcross this and got tickets. Maybe not one for the bright young things but certainly good value for an older demographic. A number of bands, I was in to in my younger days and a few I still go and see on a regular basis. https://signofthetimesfestival.co.uk/
