  3. Tickets arrived today 👌🏻
  4. Get a replacement? Yesterday I managed to finish fitting the water heater and it’s exhaust, finish fitting my toilet access door, panel part of the van ready for electrical components to be attached to it, build up and fit the shower tray and fit the shower drain and connect it to the waste tank. It was a productive day, but limited pics because I was rushing around like a mentalist! The next stage is going to be finishing all the ceiling fixtures, then building the bathroom, kitchen and all other furniture, so it should start to look like an actual campervan. All the hard work so far has been mostly on “unseen” essential components which make the van work as a living space but which don’t make it look like I’m making progress. No chance I will be finished in time for Beautiful Days so the challenge is just to have it comfortable enough to spend a few days. Plumbing, heating and electrics working and a bed. The current plan is to put mini-Blutarsky’s cot straight into the back as the rear seating area isn’t going to be done - I haven’t found any suitable seats yet!
  5. I got My despatch email a few days back so expecting them today or Monday.

  7. For God’s sake. I’ve lurked all day hoping to get Tears and BEP. 🤦🏻‍♂️
  8. I never imagined Vegas would be for me but then I got the opportunity to spend 10 hours there on a layover between flights and it was fascinating. I would definitely go back. You’ve never seen anything like it. I’d imagine 4-5 days there would be enough for me, but it would be a fun week.
  9. I’ve been off work, so listening has been a lot less structured this month. I’ll go with: 1. Billie Eilish 2. Snapped Ankles 3. Inhaler

  11. Prepare to be disappointed. I’ve a lot less hair and nose. Didn’t finish due to it absolutely fucking pissing down. Soz.
  12. The Whale Expanse water heater is now on - slung immediately behind the rear axle, and poking the hot water feed up into our mini garage. Ceiling is painted. Currently cutting a hole on the side for the chemical toilet to be emptied through. Pics when finished for those interested. If I can also just have a rant in this safe space - if you’re a company selling hugely expensive components and marketing them as “complete kits - just attach and go”, and the first page of the installation guide says “make sure to use M8 bolts with nyloc nuts”, then would it kill you to include those nuts and bolts as part of the “complete kit”. The number of times I’ve started a job and immediately had to stop and go to a hardware shop is fucking killing me.
  13. When my daughter was really small (she’s only 10-months-old now) she would only sleep in a sling. We called it the Lasith Malinga. Anyone else ever done that?
  14. I spent £2 on a scratch card the other day. Won £2. Reinvested. Won £5. Reinvested. Won £10. Reinvested. Won £4. Going to be stuck in this cycle now.. z
  15. I thought you’d mistaken him for a bot 🤖
  16. Worst idea I ever heard How about Blutarsky gets +/- 20 a day?

  18. My sister lives in Falmouth (well, very near) so know a few spots. The Pandora Inn in Restronguet Creek is a lovely place for a sundown beer - sat on a bench on their floating pontoon. Bango in Penryn does amazing Asian fusion takeaway - take it and sit on the beach at Flushing to eat. Amanzi in the middle of Falmouth does great South African food - bit pricey though. There’s a nice bar in Mylor harbour too, where you can get a decent meal (including really good pizza oven pizzas), a drink and watch the comings and goings of small yachts. Gyllyngvase Beach cafe is in a beautiful spot and there is a good coastal walk that runs off the end of the beach, plus ornamental gardens next door if you need some shade. The maritime museum is good, but a bit pricey. You could pick up some cheap tat in Trago too 😂 Now restrictions are easing there should be some local bands playing around Falmouth but it won’t be as busy as during term time.
