    Yes the transitions are amazing and that’s my favourite! The last song flows directly into the first song again as well so no need to listen to anything else basically. Think it’ll end up being my AOTY.

    It wasn’t a festival friendly set for sure. The day time slot didn’t help. They seemed to just “jam” for 20 minutes during the middle which was odd I thought.

    Crack Cloud are fast becoming one of my favourite bands. Found their live set utterly captivating. Thought Squid were really disappointing at Wide Awake but loved them at Printworks.

    Hare & Hounds in King’s Heath (Birmingham) is a personal fave. In London, my favourites are: The Windmill, Union Chapel and Heaven. I’ve had really mixed experiences in Brixton Academy - some piss poor (Fontaines - walked out it was so awful), some have been my favourite gigs of all time (e.g. Charli XCX).

    Best band I’ve seen post pandemic is Crack Cloud. Amazing. 9/10 Best moment during a gig since the pandemic was Self Esteem doing I Do This All The Time @ Wide Awake. Very emotional! Squid @ Printworks were also very good - 8/10

    I think Big Thief are in the frame for headliners. I would LOVE it. Although I hope we don’t get into this situation where GM and EOTR just alternate line ups, I’ll make an exception for Big Thief (and other high quality acts!).
