  1. It this is organized in the same fashion as Desert Trip 2016, I guess we'll have a single main stage with two headliners performing each day. Other than that, probably nothing. They know they'll sell out, so I guess they don't see the point of spending more money on smaller artists, when they're (probably) already splashing out a huge amount of cash for these headliners.
  2. Very happy with this, shaping up to be a nice 3 days!
  3. Some nice additions, Friday turning out to be really really strong for my taste. But the rebooking of the Red Hot is still to much of an issue for me. Will miss Werchter this summer for the 1st time in a while, hoping to be back next year with a lineup looking better for me (is it finally RATM time?!) Everyone going, enjoy it !
  4. Indeed, that's defo the cheapest option!
  5. This additional charge is indeed a thing but I it only applies to Zaventem airport. From Charleroi, you'll need to take a bus to the city center which I think isn't free then you can take the train to Leuven.
  6. Isn't his song called turn on the lights though ? 😅
  7. Altough I really loved CORE last year and I might go back again this year, gotta agree with this. Werchter is trying to put on too many events, and with this reduces its pool of possible names for the main event. Last year, Encore was the pinnacle of this. They seem to be trying very hard to shoot themselves in the foot, but everything usually sells well, so why would they stop expanding ?
  8. Little Simz to Core, so definitely out for Werchter. Great addition for Core though.
  9. Sorry about that, Pile would be the name of the band, and they released a new album today called, All Fiction !
  10. For those into neo-classical, Hania Rani's new album is out today, very good stuff.
  11. Can pretty much rule out Foals; they're playing Pukkelpop in August. Yeahs Yeahs Yeahs seem to be touring EU in August too. Franz Ferdinand is already playing another belgian festival (Ronquieres) M83 is a good shout indeed. The Prodigy would be great indeed, but not sure what spot would suit them. Maneskin would probably have been announced by now (trying to rule them out haha) Mars Volta would be very nice!
  12. If I recall correctly, friday sold out first with Metallica, then Sunday. Still, as mentionned, the saturday is supposed to be easier to sell out, so adding a big headliner as Muse on this day can only help. I am still unsure how they'll sell out the Thursday this year though with these two headliners, given it's often the hardest day to sell anyways.
  13. Had a blast on the saturday last year, so really considering a day ticket for the sunday. It's either that, or the full Rock En Seine.
  14. Entire daily split already on the website!
  15. Best looking line up of the year for me so far. Price okay too, this might be my august go to.
  16. Could also see them as sub in the Barn tbh, given the fact that there are already the 3 closing main stage acts for the Sunday.
  17. In the past few years, the friday 4pm local (belgian) time announcement has been a staple, especially for packets of names. I even recall an announcement in the previous years where Werchter said on their socials something of the sort "bringing back old tradition, the announcements of friday afternoon", can't recall the exact post though. The headliner announcements do not usually follow this pattern however.
  18. I hope the 3 of them try and make some tour out of this, would sell extremely well for sure.
  19. With Fred Again.., Four Tet and Skrillex currently doing b2b2b sets in London, I think there's a chance a secret set of the 3 of them could be planned on the 2nd day. Would be immense to close Bits/Cupra with this.
  20. I really don't think the order should considered too much. Plenty of the names listed "after" Barn names on the site could end up playing the main stage.
