Well, I didn’t go anywhere near either… was at BBC Introducing, Glade, Wow and Greenpeace all night. In fact, since the Maximo Park debacle, I’ve gone nowhere near WG on Thur, and never been to Stonebridge on Thur, and Thur is always a big night for me on the Farm. If people can’t find good stuff to do on Thursday that isn’t at the Park, they really need to give their head a shake.

I had the opposite experience... Took a load of mates who know nowt about dance music to the Wow set, and they all absolutely bloody loved it - got a bit too intense for me after 40 mins, and i needed to go stand outside!

Comparing that to this year’s tour underlined his flagging status. I could have probably have sold out an arena tour in 2021… 😂

Christine should never have headlined Other, and Chems headline anywhere that pays them what they want. And his tour isn’t remotely a big arena tour… it’s mainly O2 Academies. The fact he’s a friend of the festival is the exact reason why I think he was never actually lined up to headline Other in 2020.

I don’t think he is big enough to headline Other, hasn’t been for a decade, and the fact he wasn’t there last year and won’t be this year confirms to me that he was never going to be in 2020. We have no idea if he was genuinely in that slot or not. We never will - but nothing about it makes sense. That’s what my point is.
