  1. I mean, I didn’t say I was considering a cheap one… was just seeking opinions on good value.
  2. Making a play for my username? 😂
  3. Think I might have reached the point of middle age where I may buy a trolley for the hike from the car park. Anyone got any recommendations for good ones that don’t break the bank?
  4. Were you also one of the people predicting record numbers of people not paying their Glastonbury balance this year?
  5. Can’t wait for those good bands to be back in contention… 🤦‍♂️
  6. Definitely… unless they brought their own rig
  7. He ain’t going to jail for that
  8. Also, bizarrely, spent the whole gig next to Confidence Man… lovely bunch.
  9. Wow - Underworld were sublime. About as perfect a night as I can imagine. Manchester crew are in for a real treat. As much as I’d love to see them on the farm again, I don’t think anything less than two and a half hours does them justice when they’re on form like this. Was disappointing to get a very standard, normal version of Born Slippy, but that really was the only negative.
  10. Can anyone else remember this? as I certainly can’t…
  11. I think there’s a break between the two, and they’ve been starting at 8 and finishing at 11, so a bit shorter than 90 mins in reality - but still beefy!
  12. Quite the climb down from old Steveland.
  13. The other place, aye - with a lot more discussion than here.
  14. Gave him one for you big man.
  15. Top pendantry there. 🤦‍♂️
  16. I’ve got a feeling they may drop a stage announcement next week to jolt ticket balance payments, and if the SH lineup is as good as last year it may be a good candidate
  17. They’ll announce them when they think they need a ticket buying boost, so differs on a case by case basis.
  18. Look like they’ll be lucky to get through the gig without any of them keeling over…
  19. 100% this. Keith was just a dancer for the first two albums, didn’t pick up a mic until Firestarter but still only did vocals on 3 tracks on Fat of the Land, did nothing at all on the next album (if you discount his awful take of Hotride being used in a remix), before becoming more prominent on their later (in my opinion, far inferior) albums. By that reckoning, you could argue that the Prodigy shouldn’t tour without Juliette Lewis. They also have another frontman who appears on every album, and cumulatively significantly more tracks. Maxi Jazz, by contrast, was with Faithless from the start, sings on all their biggest tunes, and was undoubtedly their front man. Touring without him is tantamount to Underworld touring without Karl Hyde.
  20. Some. But there are every year.
  21. Sign of the times that we got those signs about The Levels last year
