The logical date will be 20th April for Coach resale and 23rd For General resale. The pattern in previous years appears to be the general sale is always the 3rd Sunday following the deadline day.

The crew bars tend to let all staff in until they have their closing parties on the sunday night or if its gotten really busy during festival time. Then you need to have a wrist band for that specific area... i.e. Block 9 for Maceos. Arcadia for Tow & Hitch.

Possibly you could be right. Im sure they had said long before they opened the places up again there was more places though. I recall being aware of it way before but could be imagining that. It probably wasnt a coincidence they opened up all the places at once after the ticket resale either. It aligned with the resale and the deadline for cancelling your oxfam place and losing all your deposit 🙂

Correct. Last year they actually did a "resale" of their own. They saved up a bunch of cancelled spots and released them all at once. I have a feeling they will do the same thing following the real ticket resale.

Friday 3rd or Friday 10th

For stewards it's not really an application. You just pay and book your slot like you're buying a ticket. My guess is there will be a bunch of slots added after the ticket resale in April. Last year people were getting places right up until the weekend before the festival. You just have to keep checking.

Efestivals polls should not be used to make any judgements one way or another. They are just for shits and giggles.

Yeah i agree. Im not sure the stages fall under the scope of "what areas need a revamp?"... they are not really areas they are just a field with a stage in. They can make the stages more elaborate but that doesn't change much, people are there for the bands not the stage. Areas like Shangri la need a complete overhaul in my opinion. Other than the gas tower nothings changed in years and its a bit half arsed. Budget and permission may be an isssue though.

Lets not confuse main stages with small tents or area focal points/ DJ booths.

Some of them scream of miserable old fuck. Some seem quite level headed though... i think the "permanent" bit is throwing a lot of people. Giving them the impression the festival can just do whatever it wants from there on out... which i wont be able to.

Its the only logical explanation. They had to close the field for quite a while last and it was chaos... Even for those who didnt want to go there, they couldnt get past, had to circle right around williams green. They can only do it if there is an alternative somewhere else at the same time... when there is nothing else on, the whole festival tries to get in there. A bit like The glade and the crossroads on the thursday night... ive never seen it so busy.

Been doing this for years now and they still manage to make it a shit show every year haha The resale last year did the same but places kept coming back up half an hour later after they sold out in 30 secs

Yes its a free for all first come first served approach. I believe last year though they staggered releasing the places a bit to stop the website being overwhelmed. Much the same way see tickets have started doing. So keep trying... as people fail to pay or as they release more spots the option will reappear. But will fill up completely pretty quickly.
