  1. You are lucky. My wife thinks that I am watching dodgy x rated websites. I try to explain that my intense concentration and salivation whilst I stare at the screen is due to watching 'Glasto Vibes' videos etc didnt seem believable to her. You can imagine her incredulity now that we are into the realm of watching Gavs Weather Vids.
  2. One year I got to within about 5 yards of the place and then lost my nerve. Will see if I can actually be brave and come over this year.
  3. A hat you can soak in water @crazyfool1??? You will electrocute yourself won’t you??
  4. This is not what I wanted to hear! Just had delivered the Bextoo 30000. Not plugged it in yet, but sounds like I might have made a bad decision from what you have put here! Plan was for that to do the big nightly charge and have an INUI 10000 for iterim charges to get through the day.
  5. Still here. Panic and fear will simply transfer across to the weather / where will there still be space to pitch the tent when I arrive? / who is gonna clash?!
  6. @crazyfool1 - Any suggestions of cheap parking in Taunton for the 5 days. Every year so far I have parked at the train station and walked down to pick up the coach, but its not the cheapest. Just wanting a bit of your local knowledge of cheap car parks or anywhere within walking distance that you can just park on the road and return 5 days later and still have all 4 wheels left on the car??
  7. The bit that looks like a barcode is NOT a barcode. Not quite sure why they do it but it’s just a design thing to make it look like a ticket. You don’t need to worry about that. In the past it’s just been a case of saying the name and the driver crosses you off his list. But I still always take a print out of the email. Then somewhere en route they hand out the tickets in an envelope.
  8. Odd that this year the emails have gone out before they appear in the order tracking section on SeeTickets. Reckon that Dan went rogue and hit send while Christopher & co were out having a smoke.
  9. The coach bays are actually on the bridge. You won’t miss it because there will be about 200 people with rucksacks hanging about.
  10. I am only slightly better than you 13.15 from Taunton on the Wednesday. Not the early one I wanted, but at least you have made me feel slightly grateful that I will be pitched and having that first drink by the time you get there. 9.30 return coach doesnt feel like I am going to make that. - All hail Dan!!!! He did say it would be today.
  11. Come on now Dan - we are getting desperate!
  12. Great news - but I bet it wont stop most of us continuing to check our Seetickets account this afternoon to see if anything miraculously appears today. Someone give Dan a pay rise and put Christopher in the complaints department.
  13. For me, 6 times on the coach. 2 x resale - both afternoon coaches 4 x original sale - all early morning. Thats just my experience though.
  14. Could have posted any of about 500 Glastonbury pics that never fail to bring a smile to my face. Picked 4 for now that each have different memories. 1. Discovering new music. Had never heard of Frank Carter until waiting for Killers. Absolutely awesome and totally 'owned' a crowd where 90% were not there to see him 2. Meeting great people. My wife sent me off to Glastonbury saying to try to have some fruit over the 5 days. Not sure this was what she had in mind. 3. The weather. Seen some wonderful sunsets on the farm. This one was watching Churches. 4. The volunteers. So many great people all working to ensure that those of us lucky enough to have a ticket all have an amazing time. Looking forwards to seeing what this year brings!!
  15. Sorry to put a slight dampener, but looking back to 2019 we got emails on the Friday of the advertised week. on the plus side it was Friday 17th , so let’s hope they go for the 17th again this year. as others have said, last time you could see the times in the track your order section of Seetickets. Will no doubt waste plenty of time this week refreshing that page.
  16. Guilty Pleasures on the Thursday night in Williams Green is always a winner too!!
  17. Done, Good fun in 2019 spending the Wednesday afternoon hunting all round William's Green for it!

Ditto ours got moved from Dec to last Friday and we also have 10+ positive cases since. Wonder how much research has been done on alcohol consumption rates vs likelihood of catching it???

Xmas party in April??? There can't be many companies having their Xmas party now. I suspect that I might work for the same company as you and was at that same party???? It wasnt in Devon was it??
  20. As so many have said already even if you are 'going alone', you aren't ever by yourself because you are surrounded by 100,000+ other people who are all there to have a good time like you. The fields brings out the absolute best in everyone and you will end up having conversations with randoms wherever you go. The best bit about solo is that you can do your own thing. Bimbling around the site and stopping at whatever bizarre act you come across that would have never featured on your Clashfinder. These are the true gems of the festival and its much easier to stop and watch those if you are not in a big group who are all heading to one of the main stages. Similarly if you find yourself getting bored at one of the 'big acts', just move on. I always meet up with a group of mates after the headliners but during the day we pretty much do our own things. You can have whatever 'your best festival' is and around you will be plenty of others sharing those same moments with you. Enjoy and don't let entering the gate by yourself put you off or worry you in any way!
  21. Lots of people dont catch the return coach. If you get booked on an early one back, just try to get on one of the later ones as there is usually plenty of space. They have been pretty relaxed about it in the past. Only once have I gone back on the coach I was booked on. Dont miss out on your Sunday night just because of your coach time!
  22. In the past I think I have caught coaches at 6.00, 7.00, 9.00 and 12.00. Who knows what they will be this year??
  23. No, I’m North Devon but have ended up on a Taunton coach every year since 2013. Sometimes first time round, sometimes like this year in the resale. looking forwards to seeing your outfit and hat for this year. You are both a Glastonbury and efestivals legend!
  24. You don’t get to choose. in the past there have been departures early morning and then others around lunchtime. Anecdotally I ‘think’ those who have got tix in the resale seem to be allocated on the lunchtime coaches, but that’s just been my experience and from comments on here that people have left. most important thing is, you are going to the best party in the world!! Enjoy.
