  1. I'd say take minimal booze and use the bars (maybe stash a handful of cans or so in your bag) - that's what I'll be doing if I can't get someone to take mine
  2. 2pm Manchester for me (resale), 11.30am back but I should have a lift. As expected, it's the same times mates had in the resale last year. Let operation 'who fancies taking my tent and putting it up' commence

YeaH. They've gotta say that, it will depend on others up there I guess. Most gigs I've been to like that end up lively upstairs but we'll see. If everyone is sat on their hands I'll be going to negotiate with the staff downstairs
  4. Come on Emily, give us the Bank Holiday weekend to get stuck into it... it's coming on Tuesday, isn't it? No work getting done

What time have the been coming, 9ish? People had better be standing on that balcony..
  6. First time on a coach for me, on it solo as well. I do have various friends on GA tickets setting up, so hoping I'll still be fine for a space if I'm on an afternoon coach. We've purposely agreed to camp a little bit further out, it's always been Oxylers in previous years. If it is a PM coach, I think I'll push my luck and see if one will do the honours with my tent - if I carry something else of theirs in return 👀
  7. Do headliners ever get a say in who supports them? AM are big on Royal Blood from memory, pretty sure Helders had their merch on there last time Selfishly - Pulp, Fred, AM would be quite delightful
  8. https://twitter.com/antonnewcombe/status/1660364071923859461 I guess that rules out the Brian Jonestown Massacre. As much as I love them, Anton is one strange cat at times
  9. I imagine that's new music. Not to say they couldn't appear at Glastonbury, no sure where they go on the bill now though

    Some setlist, that.

Love the single. Anyone lucky enough to be going tonight? Really looking forward to Wolverhampton next Friday
  12. I did 6 hours in the front pit for Noel & McCartney last year. To be honest, apart from the weeing situation, it was fine. I wouldn't particularly want to do it again though, not least because of how my back felt after it - I had to call it a night. I think if you're determined, and you have someone with you who is quite good at manoeuvring through crowds - you can still get pretty close. I'll be giving it a go for Arctic Monkeys this time

Yeah true. I think they would do it again, personally; but just an educated guess.

    2023 Stage Predictions

Is your placing of Pulp based on anything, out of interest? (hope you're right)
  15. I'd probably say not as strong as a lot of the other years I've been (so far), but that doesn't bother me tbh. One of my favourite bands headlining and a handful of others I'm excited about. I welcome the time to explore, and possibly even get in the South-East corner early one night; because the last time I did that, it was amazing. A friend who is going for the first time this year messaged me earlier asking if I had any rumours because there isn't much he wants to see - I said trust me, that be the least of your worries when you get there. You're about to be amazed.

Has the blur to headline Glastonbury 2024 thread started yet, or is that already in Headliners 2024?..
  17. Is it definitely Monday, or just next week at some point? I've convinced myself it'll be an afternoon coach now, so if a morning time happens to come through - that would be cause for celebration
  18. Now has 4 tickets left, if anyone did want any.
  19. I'd love Jamie XX to be on there. Not sure where he'd play at this point though, would have to be a pretty big slot
  20. Yeah I really like that area. I try and catch the Bootleg Beatles every year but it's nice to just chill round there for a bit, nice atmosphere
  21. Load of mates going, didn't plan for the possibility of United making the FA Cup Final... we have, and there's a train strike so it's a coach to London. I'm in the same boat but I'm just going to the gig sober (famous last words)
  22. Park is the one i'm eagerly anticipating now
  23. Due to the FA Cup Final/train situation the next day - a mate has 16 (yes, 16) spares for Arctic Monkeys at Old Trafford on Friday June 2nd. He's happy to sell them in anything down to pairs. Face value of course
