  1. Don't The Sun tend to get it right, more often than not? I guess if Hozier walks out on Friday, it's a goer on the Saturday. I've gotta admit, all things considered - it did feel a bit weird for Pulp to not rock up. Interested to see how this plays out..

I think not, personally. From the footage in London, plus what people have said who were there, I'd suggest he's had it for a few days already. There's only Glasgow left in the UK after Glastonbury, then they have five days before they head to Poland. I have also got the blinkers on though, as an obsessive fan who would be heartbroken if they pulled out

Matt Helders on Jo Whiley on Radio 2 at 7.30
  4. I take mine every year, regardless of the forecast. The climate there is unique, and it can change in a heartbeat

    Arctic Monkeys

They did! I was just referencing the gigs I was at

    Arctic Monkeys

I actually think this is going to happen. They were mixing it up with the first song - I got Fluorescent Adolescent in Manchester, and then A Certain Romance in Sheffield. Since then they've just started with Brianstorm. Interested to see what they do in London and Dublin. I think they're saving a first album tune for the Glastonbury opener. When The Sun Goes Down is my guess, but Dancing Shoes or Fake Tales wouldn't be a massive shock either. Very excited
  7. It just fell at the right time for me. It was my first year at uni, the demos started coming through, the gigs were absolutely wild. For a time, to me anyway, it felt like they were really gonna be my next big thing. It didn't turn out that way, I loved the second record as well but things very quickly fell away after that
  8. Also wondering the same. I'll go if it is - that album holds some great memories for me. As for everything after album 2...

I'm still on a high from Friday, A Certain Romance was such an unexpected special moment. Roll on Glastonbury
  10. Anyone know where on site serves Guinness? Bimble Inn has in recent years, feel like there's a couple more but they escape me

    The churnups

Still going Pulp, it just feels right for that slot and the timing of their comeback.

    The churnups

It's been noted in the poll thread that Graham Coxon's Dublin gig with The Weave that was due for Glastonbury Friday has been rescheduled to the Sunday..

    The Churnups Poll

That's interesting, I hadn't clocked that. The blur stuff will be paused/stopped for Gorillaz apparently next year as well

    Secret Sets 2023

I've no idea outside of that Pyramid one but I really can't blur/someone that size. That be ludicrous

    The churnups

Pulp seem a better fit for that slot to me than Foo's, dunno why Would feel a bit odd to see Foo's walk out at that time on there. Pulp on the other hand makes sense to me, especially given the timing with their comeback
  16. Friday looks pretty stacked for me, on first glance. Need to deep dive properly into the other days tonight. Always forget how much there is to go at
  17. They're playing Friday, so that would be rather underwhelming 😆
  18. That Friday Woodsies TBA has me concerned, really wanna see Fred Again
  19. My immediate thought. Googled it.. nothing Hmmm...
  20. First time I've been on today 👀 Thought I'd check in, given we've had nothing
  21. I'd love a late drop, personally; post 5pm Allow me to actually get some work done
  22. I'd love it to drop tomorrow. Not happening though, is it?

    Blur

That was sensational last night, a gig that will live long in the memory. Few tears during Tender, couldn't hold it back Damon walked right through the pub where the afterparty was, post gig. Very surreal
  24. Friend of mine did years ago (Manchester) he ended up getting on one to Bristol, then train from there. It sounds like you'll be fine jumping on any coming back. There's always gonna be people (like me) who get a lift home with someone instead so there's gonna be spaces here and there
  25. One of my friends has kindly agreed to take/sort my tent, 2pm from Manchester - hopefully be out for 7/8 there. Later than I'm used to, but anything morning/early afternoon on Wednesday is usually the sweaty mess of carrying everything/setting everything up anyway, so not losing too many hours. I do agree with the comment earlier on a Thursday coach ticket price reduction, that seems fair
