The main reason I think it’s going to happen is because they were looking at European festivals and postponed it to 2024. Sounds to me like the festivals they really wanted to play didn’t have space for them.

Foos have actually released 2 albums since their last set (technically 3 if you count their heavy metal project) and probably have another album on the way. All the new tunes heavily feature in the set. 3+ albums since their last headline set is more than Coldplay have.

Honestly it was back to back hits and he went all in. I wish people didn’t decorate up their opinions and talk about things they know little about. I wouldn’t go along to a headline set of an act I know little about and say they played no hits (just because I didn’t know the songs). Billie also played a hits filled set. It was both fan friendly and friendly for casuals.

I think Foos are absolutely nailed. It’s them and 2 others imo. Is it too soon? Yes. But that never stopped Coldplay.

Don’t really agree with this at all. Kendrick’s set was back to back hits. It irks me when people don’t listen to an artists catalogue and then claim they have no hits. Do they have no hits or have you just not really listened to their material? If you think Kendrick or Billie didn’t play the hits it says a lot. Not every act needs to be your Killers or Foos with the woaaahs every five fucking minutes to headline the pyramid.

Doesn’t confirm anything. He said a show at Glastonbury but could be talking about the town. Believing too much in unreliable sources!!

One thing to put forward though… I don’t think this is actually a rich v poor thing. I don’t think this makes gigs for the rich only… and here’s why I think this is… You only need to take a cursory look at stan Twitter (Harry Styles, Taylor, BTS, whatever) and it becomes apparent that people are getting into serious debt to afford these tickets. People who are not noticeably “well off” are borrowing money they don’t have in order to attend gigs they can’t afford. Yes obviously there will be rich people who don’t think it’s much of an expense, but I’ve noticed that these tickets are being snapped up by people who absolutely can’t afford it.. because they think the concert is unmissable… Its stuff like this which makes the debt crisis even worse.

More expensive to see one Madge gig with floor seating than to go to Glastonbury. Mad.

If did a genuine greatest hits set with a full production it would be Rolling Stones level of greatness.

Madonna is an all time great and her headline set would be an all time great. She’s one of the most influential artists of all time.

Someone a while ago passed on to me that Paul Weller was in the mix for Glasto. I didn’t share it because he didn’t have any dates at the time or anything. You may have noticed he featured in a few of my early lineup posters. Just seen he’s announced shows the week before.

I don’t think this is true but suggests she’s doing an Oct - Nov arena tour.

He has so many incredible songs. Also released by far two of the best albums of the 10s. He’s a superstar. Just a shame he’s a living myth.
