Tbh - Lana was by far the most talked about act on social media after the announcement (maybe because of her rarity). So annoyingly I do get the point that they probably should have made a bigger deal about securing her. She won’t pull out. I’m sure her team / Emily have cooled her down. But yeah it’s still not a great result for the festival. She’s now setting herself up for an absolutely legendary set on the farm if she approaches this in a cool way.

I am not convinced that Swift was the only female headliner who was up for it. I also think they will have turned acts away on the basis that they thought Swift was doing it. Hence my view that in future don’t build your lineup around an act that could just not follow through.

The moral of the story is to not put all your eggs in the Swift basket

I reckon Aitch and Pinkpantheress will be two of the headliners. Probably on the 2nd main stage. I’m going to predict headliners will be Paramore Travis Scott Muse Aitch Pinkpantheress Twenty One Pilots

Depeche Mode, Taylor Swift, Dua Lipa looks like the ideal trio for Glasto as that’s three first time headliners…. Something they look to prioritise.

I’m pretty sure there have been moments. The press doesn’t really cover her like they used to though!

In the past she has been very excited to play and her management very keen for her to do it too. I don’t think she’s the type to completely drop out over something like this. Seems she just has a track record for running her mouth on socials.

Have a stinking hangover this morning and feel like I’m going to vom any minute. Not bad - but I’m baffled some names we thought we had are not there - Sam Smith, Rosalia, Queens of the Stone Age, (BLACKPINK), Pulp, The Prodigy. I wonder if they lost a lot of people in the process somehow. Maybe they lined up numerous names and many bookings fell through?
