  1. Because everyone ignored covid on here when gigs could go ahead in their masses for people not fully vaccinated. I fucking said this would happen and that the rules and provisions aren't strict enough. But no, you lot knew best, choosing down vote and go against my view every time. I say you lot as well because you @atomised were a huge culprit of it. But remember, the chances of a lot of cases are low, 16 -19 years olds aren't at risk that much etc. You actually thought it was okay to go into a festival of that size with no restrictions without a definitive confirmation were many of being negative.
  2. There was a hint of sarcasm lol. But no I don't. Guitar acts who I've no interest in have played Glastonbury
  3. That's probably the worst outcome for me. They can do better, not every is 21 still lol
  4. Someone I know has a ticket for Leeds Temple Newsam for £55. Over 18s admission. How does that work when they are over£80
  5. It's either this or they are playing Download again. Second stage headliner Saturday or 3rd down Friday or Saturday I can get behind. I kinda need enough Friday and Saturday for Download begrudgingly as there are bands that are spread I want to see.
  6. I'm tempted but I'm not a fan of any subs so it would have to beat seats to arriver later anyway.
  7. Yup. We were outside and then the side tent was bombarded with everyone going under so we went.
  8. The Park on a Thursday night is the place to be. Stonebridge Bar and up the hill. Though had to detour to Avalon tent for Rhythm of the 90s the other year after.
  9. Because he has about 2 acts playing under him. Latitude has 3 days of full bands lineups. There is a huge difference. This is what separates gigs where an artist needs to play a festival that size many times and one that doesn't.
  10. This is plausible and while I had a giggle and fitted it bands working. Able to have a nice shower bar the cut off that happened. It's not better than having 5 days choice of be where you want to.
  11. Aerosmith could bump down to 4th then essentially. Mabel in at 3rd wouldn't be a major shock. Should have thought too, Biffy could mix it up and do Saturday night with Noel Sunday. Either way, Noel under Macca if he plays. If not, makes no odds I doubt.
  12. yeah I was going to add that someone said they did Other 2 times before. If it was 2 male acts topping Sunday then them and DiRo fits too.
  13. Yeah depending on what get's added. I think that 3rd slot on Sunday is looking likely. I think it'll be Pyramid over Other for them.
  14. if Frank is moved meaning Alkaline Trio clash with Waterparks then I may just go for it.
  15. BST is an option afterwards actually. I'm not no idea, I can't see what jump posts. Ezra isn't going from Finsbury to medium size festivals. No headliner bar as I say, the one off of Liam has done, medium sized festivals and sold their own big date out.
  16. George Ezra isn't doing Latitude. This indicates he is WAY too big for that. Yes Liam played it after big shows but he pops up for small shows and must have been a deal with FR. They booked that knowing tickets would sell after a pandemic. If not, it doesn't happen.
  17. nope, I'm not bothered about the Ezra chat and I've been busy with football and being hungover since Saturday afternoon lol.
  18. No they didn't. They got booked as it was an easy booking for a replacement band and they aren't saying no.
  19. All subjective view isn't it. I could just about see it given Dua's tour hasn't sold that well but then I didn't rate her second album bar 2/3 songs as high as the first. I actually thought her song with Miley Cyrus actually brought her back in the limelight a little. Dua Lipa has got a lot of tickets left though and with it all being said for her to miss it and headline in 2023. Her sales for this tour aren't indicative of a headliner in 2023. If he smashes sales on that then I wouldn't look past a Glastonbury 2023 headline set as he basically sets himself up for it, it's not happening next year though. Also @sisco all this talk of Dua Lipa missing it and coming back for 2023 to headline?, I'm not sure at this stage she will be headlining it. Reads are said above, ticket sales tell a story. I could understand the start of it but now not so much. She might actually now need that Glastonbury slot, whether that be a sub or Other headliner to kind of be heard again.
  20. I still reckon Biffy will be there. I thought that though when Download was announced. Download don't have a hold on them not to, Glastonbury is essentially sold. It will also will also have been 4 years. My guess now is Biffy Clyro, Noel Gallagher and Dua Lipa to sub. Royal Blood are playing too many gigs this year of those smaller to medium festivals with Victorious I guess being classed as a large but they don't get main stage headliners. I don't think the festival need to get Haim or Wolf Alice to sub when bigger options are around and Reading haven't given Wolf Alice a slot big enough for them to demand higher. Haim 3rd down I agree but they still haven't sold out Nottingham yet or a second night at Manchestet Victoria. I think Lorde maybe a perfect alternative to Arctics on Saturday on Other. I'm not kinda in the thought Fatboy Slim may not Other but I'm touting him for WHs headliner. Not your usual type but the gigs he's doing on tour are big enough to be above JP easily. I'm also going for Architects to play 3rd down Other stage. I think AJ Tracey subbing Other under Lorde works. His tour dates aren't flying out either even on the standing. I think it was premature to be playing those venues for him personally. So maybe like. Billie, Dua Lipa, Catfish +TBM QOTSA, Wolf Alice, Architects Arctic Monkeys, Noel Gallagher, Aerosmith, Mabel, Crowded House Lorde, AJ Tracey, Blossoms Elton or Macca, Biffy Clyro, Haim, Diana Ross, The Specials Pet Shop Boys, Anne-Marie I think Mabel flows into AJ and Lorde for the youngsters.
  21. Yeah if Taylor was still there but Arctics came in that's the ideal.
  22. They are going to sub it again aren't they.
  23. Carl Cox was decent. They thought about that at least unlike Fatboy Slim in the Glade.
  24. Not a bad shout that lad. I'd be happy enough with it. Friday until Billie I could just potter anywhere as it's not to my taste's but that's fine. I think it will look a bit more beefed up mind. Along with this.
  25. I think they will sub Reading and potentially get a BMTHesque 3rd spot on Other stage at Glastonbury
