  1. Agree with @FloorFiller: 1. Black Country, New Road 2. Big Thief 3. Spoon Great month, after slim pickings in Jan. 1 & 2 AOTY contenders; never really listed to Spoon but that's a belter too. Melt Yourself Down and Sasami also very enjoyable, and Keeley Forsyth going to get a lot more late night listens.
  2. Bit strange given he was due to play both Wireless and the G in 2020. In any case, there are always 'exclusives' that turn out not to be, so still a chance.
  3. @kingcrawler has done a far more thorough job than just looking at Roskilde (although that poster might merit some updates):
  4. I second all of this, especially trying them on, and also being very impressed with Meindls. I've also had a couple of pairs of Salomons before and I liked them and think they look a bit better (well, less awful than most!) but in my (limited) experience weren't as long lasting/hardwearing. Proper socks make a difference too of course.
  5. Playlist updated with Kendrick, Undertones, Angelique Kidjo, Jesse Malin, Caoilfhionn Rose, Trouble Notes and the Little Unsaid added, and new tunes for Diana Ross, Big Thief, and the recently confirmed Mik Artistik.
  6. He was booked for a Sunday slot on Williams Green last time, wouldn't be surprised to see him there again

    Diana Ross

    Nice! Playlist updated accordingly
  8. Only a mistake in the sense of letting the cat out of the bag… probably.
  9. Rare early confirmations for the Weds and Thurs!
  10. Have all confirmed themselves? Where?
  11. I'll also be there on Friday for the mini-not-actually-eFests meet
  12. Caoilfhionn Rose, Croissant Neuf on the Saturday:
  13. Some more for this I've included on the playlist (all SRs I'd say): The Chats - were booked for Williams Green, over from Australia to play 2000 Trees early July Dream Nails - booked for WG, playing Bristol w/e before, have played the Sisterhood stage at least 3 times Dry Cleaning - were a TBC, playing Euro fests with a clear GSH HAAi - @Matt42 said she confirmed for 2020, playing UK fests in June Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbot - regulars, said they were booked for 2020 and hoped to be back for 2021, playing IoW IDLES - self-confirmed for 2021, Belfast on the Friday The Snuts - booked for WG, GSH Sports Team - booked for WG, GSH
  14. The playlist has now been updated for Glastonbury 2022: the officially confirmed acts (all female or female-led, I notice); followed by the self-confirmed; 2020 poster acts whose tour dates make them likely (from @kingcrawler's list), given that all signs point to lots of re-bookings; and then others who we have good reason to believe will be there (TBCs and SRs from @Gnomicide's thread, plus a few of my own). As always, songs for each act are those they've played live most often at recent shows, to give the best idea of what they'll play on the farm (as far as it's possible to tell, I mainly use setlist.fm, sometimes also YouTube and a bit of Googling).
  15. Yes indeed, I've been updating the playlist from last year (and the year before that!) here. Only major departure from Gnomy's approach is that I've kept in anyone from the 2020 poster who's active in or around the UK at the time. Emily's recent interview further confirmed that most of those are being invited back. Worthy of a Strong Rumour in my book. Order is confirmed, self-confirmed, poster acts, others who are TBC or SR (including a few that I rate as that even if Gnomy doesn't).
  16. Would love to set that up at the top of the Hill of Death for the week
  17. Great work on this thread Gnomy. I've been updating the playlist accordingly. As well as the Strays, don't the 2nd and 3rd on the ETC usually get given smaller spots somewhere on the lineup? I'd have thought Foals worthy of a SR. @adequate8 has been on the money before, and it's hardly an outlandish suggestion.
  18. Great work. Is Aitch right? He's in Australia for Splendour in the Grass in July. Does he have any European dates?
  19. Loads from the 2020 poster look like they'll be back - see @kingcrawler's thorough list here:
  20. Candi Staton - TBC - booked for 2020, said she was also booked for 2021, said she was "hopefully" playing 2022, and is at the Love Supreme festival the following weekend Carl Cox - SR - always plays these days, self confirmed for 2020 and is at a French fest the following weekend Terry Reid - TBC - self confirmed for 2020, now has a random one-off London date on the Thursday This site has a similar list in operation, the artist's name usually links to the source of the rumour (sometimes to here!) https://www.glastofestfeed.com/news/rumours/glastonbury-2022-line-up/

    Aerosmith?

There’s this post on his Facebook: https://m.facebook.com/byzegut#!/story.php?story_fbid=507900000692085&id=100044162693048&m_entstream_source=timeline There is at least a question mark. Big shame if this is true.
  22. Totally with Neil on this one. He's got the power to draw attention to Spotify's laissez-faire attitude to profiting from dangerous nonsense, and won't care if it costs him. And of course he is particularly pro-vaccine, having suffered from polio as a kid. Amusing, though, that this comes after his fight with Tidal last year - took all his tracks off there because Tidal did some audio-twiddling and labelled the results 'Masters' (some but not all of it is back on there now). And he does have his own subscription 'Neil Young Archives' website where you can listen to all his stuff for a fee. I wonder what reason he's going to find to fight with Apple Music?
  23. Poster for the aborted 2020 edition. All signs are that GFL will be re-booking lots of those acts.
