  1. absolutely wild to me he's just cracking on as normal
  2. Even more mad he's on the BBC Sound list!
  3. The National Gang of Youths Max Richter Alvvays Middle Kids
  4. Feels like Fred Again is already far too popular for this list
  5. Robbie in the Legends slot on the same day as Elton, chefs kiss
  6. Ah wonderful! St. Cloud was fantastic and still a shame she maybe didn't get the credit deserved due to its release date
  7. Should've Would've Could've has that angry, driving vocal that so many of The National's songs have which is what I think I love so much, the Dessner touch. But then the lyrics are fantastic too.
  8. Would've Could've Should've is definitely up there in my favourite all time. That and Kid You're On Your Own
  9. I think it's interesting that there's not been an outright denial or 'source confirms she's giving it a miss' and the gap is interesting. I still think unlikely, but as long as it's not scientifically impossible I'm dreaming
  10. Sunday it is. What a closing night that will be Then she's got a few days to rest before Cincy. All makes perfect sense.
  11. Loved Palma Violets. That first album is still full of bangers. They're still going in a couple forms now, the lead singer trying to make a come back. Straying slightly off topic mind you as I don't think he's in with a shot at headlining
  12. Dunno, as with the others, if the music was shite would she gets as far as she has? She's clearly extremely talented and has released fantastic music. Maya Hawke's music is a completely different vibe and to be honest, quite average, but let's not pretend she hasn't also experienced massive success from having parents in the industry too.
  13. Hope Alvvays do some dates around that, would love to see them again
  14. Catfish chat in the headliners thread, time to log off for the day 🤮
  15. 1975 would be great fun IMO, similar to Killers where they have more bangers than you quite realise
  16. Good shout, would be a step up in terms of slot even if it is a bit of a sideways move for them
  17. I don't think it will happen, but The National have a new album coming and last subbed in 2017. I just don't think their popularity has kicked on enough to headline but at the same time they could be a very outside shot? Are they the same level Arcade Fire were when they headlined? I don't think they've gotten less popular, more just stayed at the same level.
  18. There is no fair way to do it as the demand outstrips the supply, the system they have at the moment enables a full 250k sell out in an hour give or take. They don't set it up for things to go wrong but shit happens that you can't test before the actual thing itself takes place
  19. Every single time I got through this year including to buy tickets was in Incognito, could be purely coincidental but hey

I've been once before and it was pretty tough, but back then I was quite young and didn't drink so just sat on my own for an entire week. Booked to go on my own this year as most of my mates aren't interested, I couldn't miss it just for that reason and looking forward to maybe meeting some on here to camp with or just go with the flow! Most important thing is having that ticket and the rest I'll figure out
  21. I was on last.fm earlier and stumbled across the most listend to artists and it was Drake, Taylor then Joji
  22. I just don't see how she couldn't have her regular tour sorted in Minny, with a specialised team doing the Friday at Glastonbury. Hopping straight over on her private jet with ease would be fine. Maybe I'm just talking myself into it I feel like she'd do a specially designed show for Glastonbury separate to her standard tour Be an absolutely perfect time to announce it after tickets have sold out too
  23. Added extra dates but nothing after Minneapolis, my hands are full of straw
