Suspect it helped mightily trying for just me, going straight for Thursday and nabbing a 5am coach, but buzzing all the same to have it in the bag. I had nothing the first five minutes then seemed to get through all at once. Went through in Incognito and had bank issues but somehow it actually held the ticket and didn't boot me -
As a former Courteeners obsessive, I'm as much surprised that they somehow have a cover band.

That would also bang. Do recommend Gracie Abrams if you're a Taylor fan. New tune done with Aaron out today. Would post in new music but feels like more of a niche crossover. Could also see Bleachers supporting, be uninspiring for me but make a tonne of sense. Wouldn't hate it

Sadly even on this technicality, they've been declining for years, the lead singer's a weird dude at best and as with all bands/creepy dudes, they'll always have a following of similarly creepy dudes like the few of you in this thread who worship him as your messiah. Best of luck to you all

Three reviews over 7 on Metacritic, it's hardly set the world alight. Mostly middling. It will be nominated for no awards and I've not seen anyone mention it since it was out. Hardly been the second coming of Funeral and contains more of Win's old man yells at a cloud painful lyrics.

I mean, there's a few decent songs, a few mid ones and I stopped listening to it fairly soon after it was released (before the allegations). Seems par for the course with much of their release, few quality tunes and the rest a bit crap.

Ta for this. One of my favourite bands but I had to unfollow them on socials after they split up. They forever promise new albums and change their mind last minute. As far as I'm aware, they're still done but recorded one final album so wouldn't expect any dates, but who the hell knows with them.... Ah thought it was an actual announcement, not just Kevin being Kevin again. I'll believe it when I'm listening to it 😄

I won't be seeing again. Just depends how many others will take a similar stance once. I imagine it's a lot easier to not spend £60 on a ticket than deciding to go once you've already spent the money. The favour they gained from their earlier work also stands for a lot less now considering their albums have become increasingly mediocre. You'd think surely a lot of festivals wouldn't touch them too surely?

All a bit odd to me, as a huge Swiftie. Album announced, then gone dead for weeks with the only communication flogging dead expensive vinyls lol. I'd rather save my money for the tour and listen to it on Spotify tbh

Also really enjoyed APE, although still bitter we never got the 2 special nights at Brixton. Just thought I could listen to them for another 2 hours, didn't want it to end. How lucky we are to have a band that have been this good for this long and still seem to just be completely on form.

I was going to ask in the Seatfillers thread if we thought there'd be some as it didn't look close to sold out, have to think it'll be even worse now. I don't think I'll ever see them again, whether or not I'll listen to them I don't know, probably not. Even if he disputes some details, I found the whole apologies completely gross, the line about I knew she was 18 because I googled her was just horrific. Like why the fuck would you say that?!
