Worthy View - 4 person yurt or bunkpad?

Hi all,

Me and some friends have decided to give Worth View a go this year, but we have accidentally booked both a 4 person bunkpad and a 4 person yurt. Does anybody have any advice on which to keep? Or anybody who has tried both and would have a strong preference either way? I have never been in there so never seen either in the flesh… tricky to make any real judgements from the pictures on the site. Any advice would be much appreciated!

Would also be interested in views/pictures of the 4 man yurt. Have had a bell tent last two years and loved it, loads of space. Missed out this year but grabbed a yurt. I know the 2 man are small and the podpads very small (not much head height). Thanks

The Bunkpads look pretty small when you are up close. I wanted to try and get one last year and missed out. We got a 4 man tipi tent instead and it was brilliant in terms of space so were happy we didnt get one in the end. The Yurts looked like a similar size to the Tipi's.

Go for the yurt. Yurts look pretty roomy up close.

The bunkpads look like they're built out of plywood and they're small. Would be fine for 2 adults and 2 kids I reckon, but a squeeze for 4 adults. Wendy houses imo.

the bunk pads look a bit claustrophobic to me!

The 2 person bunk pads are a bit small, but they block out the morning sunlight and are cooler than a tent.  Those extra 2-3 hours sleep can be very important at Glastonbury.  You are  RIGHT next door to people though (not even a gap of 2 feet between sheds), so less privacy.  The 4 man ones did look to be located slightly better.

I've gone for the 4 man Bell Tent (only for 2 of us) this year rather than the 4 person bunkpad.  Much more floor area in a Yurt/Tipi/Bell Tent
