whats the deal with this? what sort of bands are we to expect? or is it just a madness gig with 2 or 3 supports?

Was watching the BBC coverage of Madness at Glastonbury yesterday and it has really got me in the mood for this now!! Not long to go now... Anyone have any idea when we might here something about the 3rd stage... There doesn't seem to be a lot of info about this around!

Saw the coverage at Glasto too - can't wait!
It'll be even better as most of the Glasto crowd didn't know the new ones, whereas at Madstock it'll be Madness fans so every song will be a singalong
Would be nice if The Specials showed up...

According to here:
http://www.ticketmas...2004192B3425A7D
Joining them will be:
Main Stage:
Madness, The Pogues, The Blockheads, Jerry Dammers Spatial aka Ensemble, Man Like Me
Second Stage:
Bjorn Again, Hayseed Dixie, Gregory Issacs, The Aggrolites
Third Stage
Scarlett and Viva plus many more
So The Specials seem unlikely.

I think The Specials are very likely to turn up....
all the adverts say:
Plus "Special" Guests
with the emphasis on the "Special"

As Jerry Dammers is one of the founders of the Specials I'm wondering if this is sort of a secret appearance... Anyone know if he is playing in the current lineup?

Ah don't worry about mates!! I'm heading down on my own from Wales, I'm sure the crowd is going to be great fun and friendly enough, not worried in the slightest about being on my own, bring it on!! Mind you, a few beers and I'll talk to anyone!!

Only 2nd stage band I'm interested in is Hayseed Dixie, and thats only if Jerry Dammers hasn't got me hooked by then!! Will probably watch Scarlet & Viva and maybe some of The Aggrolites just because the main stage hasn't started then!! But later on its Blockheads, Pogues and the Nutty Boys all the way!!!
Which reminds me... Anyone know what the stage set up is going to be like? Hope its not a too much of a trek between stages...
