  1. Wasn’t there an article a couple of weeks ago about some group consisting of Shaun Ryder, Andy Bell and a few others saying they were playing? That would be very disappointing if this is them.
  2. Hot chip are always quality. That tent will be buzzing.
  3. Don’t get me wrong, I’d love pulp to play. Manics guitars are outstanding at times. A pure guitar enthusiasts band surely?
  4. I’d disagree with this. put your tent up and just go. One of those great things is getting lost and just hoping for the best later on. Its the best place to get lost. enjoy
  5. Can’t understand the placing of manics and hot chip same time Friday. This happened a few years back with Radiohead and flaming lips. Manics Friday or Saturday early evening on pyramid or other would be great. show mercy please.
  6. Steve Mason at future yards in Birkenhead tonight. Great show, new songs really good and the addition of the backing singers works really well. Park stage would be nice, mid afternoon Saturday. The support, wax tree cast were excellent too. Nice venue, good crowd, loved it.
  7. Yep It should be a monumental piss up on the Saturday night. And it’s absolutely the best place for it. Can’t wait for it.
  8. Glad you enjoyed it. I must be getting really miserable. The films they showed during the songs really got on my nerves and his voice and changing tempo really wound me up. If I hadn’t got those tickets I would have gone to Anfield last year which was great by all accounts. Hopefully Glastonbury is better but I’ll be on the fringes by the cider bus.
  9. Not at all. Had the tickets for about 4 years and it kept getting postponed and then he played Anfield last summer as a separate show. Some of it was the acoustics in the arena but for a lot of the singalong songs he kept singing too fast and it just sounded weird. It has certainly made me open to seeing what else is on.
  10. Just seen him in Liverpool. Very disappointing. Got the impression he just couldn’t be arsed singing the hits properly, changing tempo etc. I realise it’ll be a different show for Glastonbury but I’m not hanging around the pyramid for hours.
  11. Late to this but isn’t Sting likely. playing Lytham festival same as Ross last year.
  12. It’s pure luck hammer F5 First time in ages got a coach ticket and I try every year, no way I’m driving home on Monday. F5 is your best mate, give it some.
  13. The Reading show looked alright I thought. Alex Turner has never been the most mesmerising front man but the band in total is excellent. They are definitely headline material. Pleased to say I’m looking forward to it.
  14. Thursday worked eventually, made up. Good luck on Sunday everyone
  15. Maybe it’s already been said but the overcrowding/crush between the other stage exit by leftfield after PSB on the Sunday night was horrendous. I was genuinely scared, no crowd control at all. That exit point is far too narrow especially considering the number of people in the other stage field that night. Friday and Saturday were fine, no idea how many Sunday tickets got sold, it was noticeable the difference though. Apart from that and the obvious wet leg fiasco it was the same as normal.
  16. Anyone know how pylon is looking
  17. The killers have already done it
