That's amazing!

Yeah so are the Berlin festival goers as nice as the normal Berliners? Cause I can't speak good German, I suppose I get by but nothing conversation worthy.

Would love another Newcastle meet if your up to it. Although I would suggest giving revolution a wide birth and spending more time in Trillions. I really like that place, lots of nice looking ladies too

Late November would be a good time for me. It doesn't have to be in Newcastle does it? Not that I mind if it is, I just mean it doesn't have to be there again does it, could be anywhere.

Cultseeker was definately the host with the most though.....mmmmm, that breakfast.

Seeing the cute goth lass from work tonight B) Really not sure in what context though... I've only seen her a couple of times at work and haven't really spoken to her much about anything. All I know is that she's cute and goth, so worried there may not be much to talk about apart from her being cute and goth, which may or may not be a good start.

Paranoia is kicking in though. Texted her last night asking if she fancies a pint and she says yes but she may have to bail as her friend may need moral support at a work do; Now does that mean she's ditched an evening out with her friend to see me, or that she's leaving an easy get-out clause open. Then again maybe she may actually be oncall incase her mate needs her.

Dunno why i'm worying about all this really, she is very cute and very goth afterall!

From Woody Allen

To love is to suffer. To avoid suffering, one must not love. But, then one suffers from not loving. Therefore, to love is to suffer, not to love is to suffer, to suffer is to suffer. To be happy is to love, to be happy, then, is to suffer, but suffering makes one unhappy, therefore, to be unhappy one must love, or love to suffer, or suffer from too much happiness — I hope you're getting this down.

    • Madonna lived in the UK for absolutely ages and I think is still largely London-based at the moment.  I'm sure she'll be well aware.     But it wouldn't need to be either / or.  Lots of acts do both  - Glastonbury for the hype and BST for the pay.
    • There is a chance that Norton's reaction was very much like our reaction, because people in this country tend to think 'big = Glastonbury'.   Having said that, though, I'm fairly sure they've gone for her again this time, and it's broken down. Whether it's only just broken down or not, I'm not sure, but I'd air on the side of - they thought they had her, up to a certain point.
    • Yeah, I did wonder if they might be getting too big for Piece Hall now. Wet Leg did Castlefield this year and were subbing them at Tramlines. Wishful thinking! I'd happily see them do another outdoor headline in the north of England, wherever it might be (except R+L, which I'm def too old for now 😂)
    • You've certainly got a bunch of American acts who absolutely adore the festival and are willing to bring peanuts for it. You can never discount The Killers on that basis.
    • Law unto herself, Madge. But I think, for a certain generation, Hyde Park still has a touch of mystery and magic - that and Wembley Stadium.
