Just say this on the Isle of Wight radio site

John Giddings said discreet work was ongoing to increase security but revealed there would be four different checks to stop people with counterfeit wristbands and tickets getting in.

So, no-ones getting in til 8pm Friday night then? Hello Mr Giddings! LAst year you tried to get 60,000 people through the eye of a needle, it wasn't pretty. This year you're going for 4 needles?... o_O

Wouldn't be so bad if there were awnings put up over high queue areas (as I saw at Reading back in '04). But I think they'd prefer to see soaring rates of heat stroke and dehydration rather than lose their drink sales.

my wirstband was crap this year....the writing came off and it wasnt on tight enough so it could just slip off
