sledge450
Some decent gueses, but i think alot of it is unlikely. I really cant see BP being there again, especially as there working on a new album next year. Travis wouldnt play that low down, they are still reasonably big and id say on par with the manics in terms of popularity. Hard fi are massive, could arguably (and i would argue against this myself) nd headline the CW, so no way would they 2nd headline the radio1 tent (apart from that i think your NME guesses are spot on, although i dont see WAS playing again). As for the Sunday mainstage, Sum 41 wouldnt play above Rancid, trivium and even probably NOFX (I've heard theyve struggled to sell tickets for there upcoming UK tour and there recent album was a disaster sales wise). The top 3 are possible, nay, likely however. Not a bad effort though, some really good guesses.
BruisePristine
Placebo are pretty much on the verge of splitting up (IMO) after their drummer leaving recently. I certainly don't think they're going to maintain their size, anyway, so wouldn't expect to see them so high up ever again.
Bains
Shit son, Feeder & The Cribs in the NME tent. Wooop. If only. And no way are Hard-Fi big enough to headline CW. That's disgusting. Edited October 28, 2007 by Bains
ofgreetingsandgoodbyes
I'd me happy with that line up to be fair, Alkaline Trio, Bright Eyes, Gallows, Rise Against, Alexisonfire, We Are Scientists, Placebo, RATM. Just add Saosin, The Mars Volta and Circa Survive and it would be worth the ticket price

Matticus
coheed's new album is amazing, i seriously reccomend it to anyone who is a fan of anything alternative or rock. I reckon this is the album that makes them
ofgreetingsandgoodbyes
Not sure about Placebo after their drummer left. I see that Circa Survive are on the Kerrang Tour bill with Fightstar, Madina Lake and Coheed and Cambria. Not bad for 15 quid. What is this tour like? Do all the bands only get 30 minutes or something?
Whill
Bright Eyes will never play Carling while Clear Channel have any part in Festival Republic (assuming they still do after they changed stuff last year?)

ledgend777
There's about 10 from that predicted line-up I'd like to see, but I'd be pretty disapointed if the line-up was similar to that - especially disapointed with the headliners! Sorry RATM, Verve and Kasabian fans, but I'm not fussy on any of them.
Explosions_In_The_Sky
Im only going for Circa Survive and Coheed & Cambria. Circa Survive will get about 30 minutes , which for me is heartbreaking because they are my favourite band. Fightstar will get around 30-40 minutes, Madina Lake will get about 40-45 minutes and Coheed being the haedline band will get about an hour/90 minutes something like that. I cant wait  Edited November 11, 2007 by Explosions_In_The_Sky

SOAD
Friday Main Kaiser Chiefs - could possibly happen. I would of thought it was cert until a recent interview with Kaisers where they said they dont wanna headline a fest yet. Hard Fi - maybe, they are big enough. BabyShambles - possibly The Enemy - maybe a little high, also will prob be on NME stage. The Subways - prob wont play Reading next year, but would be bout right spot. Probably on Sunday though. NME The Cribs - makes sense Kate Nash - doubt she will be back, and would probably be main now Saturday Main Kasabian - wont headline saturday. The Klaxons - possibly by reading they would be this big, but would second headline friday if anything. The Editors - sounds bout right Dizzee Rascal - maybe not quite this high, but he could possibly play main. Modest Mouse - probably a little too high and doubt they will play NME Super Furry Animals - probably wont play but would be right spot Lethal Bizzle - will prob play but not this high Sunday Main RATM - yeah LostProphets - they wont be back next year Incubus - possibly... but I doubt it. Would also move up a spot now. Fightstar - too high a slot for certain but will probably play. Random New Band
