I read yesterday surposildy from another "good source" that Bon Jovi is playing the Bestival but it might be the Festival they aint sure LOL

Its a genuine rumour... been going since last year..for various reasons..the music they played between sets was U2 which apparantly was what they did the year previously with the stones..also SOLO promote U2 just as they do the stones and as far as I'm aware there is re-release of some of their music due out early next year...so could be...

Muse did there own Wembley show last year, and played IOW so you can't rule the Foo's out.

I'm sure there has been a case of a band having headlined a festival twice in 3 years, perhaps even 2 years consecutively.

Whilst having a look at one of those dodgy sites that say they can sell you tickets for IOW2008 it said line up includes Genesis so thought I’d throw that one in for a laugh. :angry:

It's Led Zep, right? Why else would they announce so early and make such a big deal out of things (£75 early booking club etc)! The organiser was asked this year how he was going to better the Rolling Stones and he apparently replied "by reforming Led Zep?". Now, he may have been joking but maybe not...

I may or may not be going...at the moment it's looking more than likely not, but that's got nothing to do with the band rumours being touted around...

Time will tell
