I remember when Chef was just a three-year-old little man, he came runnin' into me with a big smile and his little chef's hat on, and he says to me, "Poppa, poppa." I said, "What do you need, Chef, my boy?" He said, "I need about tree-fitty."...

Well, it was about that time I begin to get suspicious. I said, "Chef, my boy, why do you need tree-fitty?" He said, "My imaginary friend Boo-Boo the dinosaur wants it." So I went to my son's room, and sure enough, there was that damn Loch Ness Monster!

Well, it was about that time that I notice that girl scout was about eight stories tall and was a crustacean from the protozoic era.

I said, "Dammit monster! Get off my lawn! I ain't giving you no tree-fitty!" It said, "how about just two-fitty?" I said, "Oh, now it's only two-fitty!! What?! Is there a sale on Loch Ness munchies or something?!"

bit of googling led me to this, has all the loch ness monster quotes (which, in all fairness, wipes the floor with every chuck norris joke going)

I like the bit later on where they're blatently in Mexico and he's doing the same thing.

Umpire: ¡Strrrrike tres!

Pueblo Team: Bueno bueno! Bueno! Espectacular!

Pueblo Dad: ¡Vamonos Pueblo! ¡Viva la Pueblo!

Randy: [using a Spanish textbook for assistance] ¡Pueblo, no bueno! ¡Pueblo es muy mal! [a pitch is sent to an SP batter, who doesn't swing]

Umpire: ¡Ball cuatro, por favor! [the scoreboard is updated, Randy fights with the Pueblo dad and is hauled off a fourth time]

Randy: This is America! This is an honest America!

  • 2 weeks later...

Didn't know there was a new one out

Will have to watch the previous one that I haven't seen also, then I'll watch that. Was a bit put off the new series cos of the Britney Spears and Major Boobage ones which got on my tits, and I didn't really enjoy the one where Garrison got his knob back.

I thought Lucas and Spielberg were dead after trying to re-do Raiders of the Lost Ark? "Dude, thats Steven Spielberg and George Lucas!"

" You want to go to South Park, you gotta go down that rawd. 'Course, I ain't nevuh seen anyone go up that rawd. Six years ago a group of campers went up there and got lost. Had to eat each other to say alahv. Used to be the way to O'Riley house. He butchered over fifty children and kept their bodies in a cellah. But, you should find an old bridge about halfway up. That bridge is cursed, you know? They built it with the bones of two hundred Chinese laborers who were massacred in '34. Yeah. Lotta historih down that rawd."

    • My view would be given them any damn slot they asked for just to make it happen. Up to and including the big one.   Realistically though in terms of where they could draw a crowd in 2027 - even including a "first time back" bump I think you'd be looking at Woodsies/Park headline, or somewhere around 3rd from top on the Other stage.   Unfortunately I'm not sure that the reunion would excite many people not currently in their 40s or 50s.
    • Yep - should have been the Stones.
    • Yeah I do agree on the 2 hour thing. But if they were subbed by Biffy/WA only doing 75 mins or so would be doable.   Only reason I suggested them was because we know they're back doing shows here next year.
    • Its probably the culmination of issues that have been simmering under the surface for a while. Spain ran a regularisation program recently that allows undocumented individuals to obtain temporary legal status and then a route to EU citizenship. 1.2 million applied. At the same time Montenegro is having to close its citizenship via investment program as part of EU ascension talks.    Countries are obviously asking, why are we having to reject investors whilst others can wave anyone in?
