Kendal Calling Interactive Map

Hi all

For the past 4 years i've made an maintained an interactive map of the festival site using google mymaps

I've noticed a link to last year's map was floating around on here, so I thought i'd share the updated version for 2026!

I've also got a custom url which will always point to the most recent map

This is one of my passion projects, because i'm a sad git 😅
You can find distances from carparks, campsites, arena stages, the co-op, pickup/drop off, etc
All water points denote the type of water point they are (single tap, water trough)
All toilets denote the toilet type (portaloo, long drop, vac toilet, etc)

Hopefully some of you find it useful!

A lot of social media reports unhappy with the alcohol rules this year and some have said its gradually gone down as a festival the last few years. I've never been so open to some views. I was pretty hyped to go this year finally but most my stuff lands on Friday and recent reports of the libs aren't the best on here lol.q

Great festival in a fantastic location. It was always sad to see it move away from Kendal but was necessitated by the growth of it year on year since it's humble beginnings. Alcohol rules have always been a bone of contention at most festivals and there will always be people unhappy but it is what it is. There are always ways and means if you're committed.
