Camping and car parks

How far to general or quiet camping is it from car park? Am trying to decide on pre-erected tent with car park close by or just take my own stuff. Have dodgy shoulder so not keen on dragging trolley too far!

Car to tent (where I was last year) was an 8 minute walk.

Timed it because Mrs Nal said 15 minutes and I bet her a Bloody Mary it was less than 10.

Please excuse the crudity of this model. I didn't have time to build it to scale or paint it

It's probably worth noting that whilst the walk isn't "long" it is hilly, so if you're hauling a load of stuff, it can be knackering. You should be OK if you manage to get into that General Camping to the right of Nal's red line as that's on the downhill. The moment you get level with the Woods Stage, you're in for the uphill slog.

We did Tangerine Fields for the first time last year and the ease of parking so close and not having to drag a massive tent around with us has made up our minds about doing the same again this year.

Yeah have decided to treat myself to TF as coming on my own and don’t fancy putting up big tent if the weather is a bit dodgy. Also getting old now and need to stand up in the tent!
