Parking car on Tuesday and then staying elsewhere?

Pretty sure I know the answer to this but a friend and I have booked a local airbnb to save us have to get up in the middle of the night to drive down on the Wednesday morning and we can just straight in the queue. What I’m wondering is good we park the car Tuesday night, then walk to our airbnb and head back to car first thing?! Or is that absolutely not allowed?!

You don't get to choose where you can park so you could have quite a long walk on narrow country lanes. Depending where you are walking will depend on any road closures and stewards manning these points turning you away. If you do succeed remember it won't necessarily get you any closer to the entrance than arriving on Wednesday. 🙂

Yes thank you I think you’re absolutely right. It probably wouldn’t actually save us that much time but add a lot of hassle!

you could do that, but walking on those roads isn't safe, - there's no pavements so you'd be walking in the road with the traffic, with drivers distracted by the festival stuff.

I don’t know how well you know the area or the festival site and parking layout, but as someone who has a reasonable knowledge of both I wouldn’t attempt this in a million years.  It just won’t work out - stick with your car.
