Towed Caravan Question

Hi All,

Question for those who have used the camper section before. Would we be able to park a towed caravan which is 8 metres long itself in the east general section? Or more likely to be allowed this at Bath showgrounds? It does specify one vehicle in each pitch, does this mean the car which towed it cannot be parked in the same pitch? Just wondering how strict the rules are.

The towing vehicle can be parked with the caravan, however the caravan cannot exceed 8 metres. The caravan is not classed as a vehicle as it's a trailer. If in doubt of the length book Bath and West as it's a long drive if you are turned away due to the one way system. 🙂

If the van is 800cm exactly there will not be a problem. Pack a tape measure in the van if you’re worried! 

Car can be parked next to it. Try to leave a bit of room between car and caravan for personal space/ awning if you can!
