Bath & West Showground ease of pickup Monday

I've been offered a lift to, and back from, the Festival next year by someone who's not going themselves. Does anyone here have experience of being picked up from the Showground on the Monday - what is the traffic usually like round there, and can the drivers expect a relatively quick pickup, or a long wait in a queue?

Never had any problems with pick ups there, the bus from the site is regular to the pick up point as well.
