Flag Help

I am wanting to bring a flag to a festival and this is the first time I'm doing it. Whats the best way to DIY a flag pole is it PVC pipe or tent poles? How do I secure the flag so it doesn't blow away? and is it better to have eyelets or a sleeve for the flag? Thanks for your help

FYI if you were unaware no one takes flags into the arena at Reading, they are officially banned, which is a very good thing
