Has anyone stayed in the Love Fields before? Just having a bit of a catch up with an old friend who's going to Glastonbury this year and has booked to stay in the Love Fields and is arriving by coach from London. Is there a shuttle bus from the coach drop off point does anyone know? If not is it going to be a trek across site from gate A to B?

Your friend would be better off asking the people who run Love Fields. I would imagine most of their guests arrive by car.

We're staying there this year and it does say in the instructions we have been sent how to get there depending on how you arrive.  For coach and buses that get dropped at A it says "From Gate A make your way to Gate C, exit the site and turn left and walk up Cockmill Lane a few yards, the entrance will be on your right - about a 20 - 25 minute walk"

Hope that helps

That'll be a brisk 25 minute walk from gate C.  Reckon a good hour walk with all your gear once you get to gate A

Im in love fields! Its Gate C, and they emailed out saying it's about 25 minutes walk from coach/bus drop off part.

I think this may be a bit ambitious. If you look at the map you'll see that you need to walk right the way across the site from Gate A to Gate C. You then turn left and go up the hill to Love Fields which will take at least 10-15 mins on top.

Don't forget that if you feel overloaded with stuff, you can always drop some of it off at one of the lock-ups for collection later.

Im Parking luckily. Says as long as the ground is dry, you get to drive right up to your tent/tipi etc and unload before going to park it back in the field next to it!

Ah, right. Thought you were coming by coach. By car it's just the blue route straight to the Love Fields.

Thanks for all the replies. My friend has been to Glastonbury before a few years ago but doesn't really know the lay of the land. I suspected a trek and a half across site was what she was in-store for. I suppose though if she's going by coach she won't be too heavily laden. Good idea about dropping some off at a lock up on the way too. I'll pass on the info, thanks again.

    • Guitarricadelafuente was bloody brilliant tonight. This is going to be a very Spanish focussed year for me. Rusowsky dragging out Las Ketchup on Saturday has the potential to be a Prima magic moment.
    • £112 for standard entry. No thank you.
    • Meanwhile Gracie Abrams is £92 for the cheapest with the average price around £160 for lower tier and £103 standing.   First time in a while I've gone from a definite yes to a definite no on price alone.   Amble was £31 this morning.
