A few questions

Depends what car park you get into and where you want to camp.

We normally get there Thursday afternoon and manage to get into the closest car park to the main gate. From here its about a 5 min walk to the nearest camping and about 20 mins to the furthest camping the other side of the main stage.

I believe the more lively camp sites are the ones the other side of site, I'm normally in family camping which starts just the other side of the main gate.

As you come through the main gate the normal camping is straight on just the other side, family / quiet camping is left down a small hill. You can walk across the site in 20 mins so your never far from the stages wherever you camp.

I've got a large 5 man tunnel tent, I've never had any trouble finding a spot, its not rammed like Pennard

Please be assured we have not forgotten about your order and your tickets will be despatched as soon as we receive them, normally 14 days prior to the event.
Tickets will be despatched as soon as possible, but may not be received until the week of the event. If you have not received your tickets in the post, please contact us no later than two working days before the show date at https://www.seetickets.com/CustomerService. If you are required to collect the tickets from the venue you will be advised by email prior to the event.

The plan is that we are going down to Exmoor on the Sunday before for a little holiday seen as we are down that way

Hopefully the tickets will arrive in time but they're  cutting it a bit fine,a bit crap really

If you get there on the Thursday, you'll be grand for space :) As said above, nearest campsite is just inside the gate from the car park, which makes life so much easier on the Monday morning. Even if you camp right at the top of the hill, it'll only be a 10 min walk down to the festival. The hill is pretty big tho, so it definitely makes loading the car up again easier if you're nearer the top.

Bars tend to shut around midnight, with the main stages finishing at midnight on Friday and Saturday, and 11pm on Sunday. Things are generally a bit quieter and more chilled on the Sunday, but on Friday and Saturday the Dance tent goes on until about 2am with a Silent disco then until 5am (I think those times are right) and the Bimble Inn stays open too - and there's a bar in the Bimble which stays open :)

Tickets are usually sent out way before that don't worry. Usually at least a month if not longer before the festival

    • My understanding is that the queues returning back to the UK will be much worse (up to two hours) but the queue entering Lisbon isn’t so bad. That’s just from reading a few forum posts about it though so take it with a pinch of salt!

    • World Cup 2026: What is happening with ticket prices? - BBC Sport   Sounds like Infantino has been learning from his buddy if he's running around claiming its all sold out while quietly dumping tickets below face on assorted secondary websites.
    • Mac DeMarco also cancelled
    • I'm British so it very much would apply for me.   I mean, it's a moot point as I don't have tickets so will not be in town for this, but I've heard reports of lengthy queues and given I remember Lisbon Airport having a long queue at arrivals even pre-EES when I went in 2023, I seem to guess it might be quite the wait, depending on flight paths.   Certainly, the worst I've had pre-EES was a 45 minute wait for a stamp at Valencia Airport in Spain, where 4 flights to non-EU destinations in quick succession were placed one after the other. So I can't say I'm enthusiastic about what's in store. Or you know. Maybe I'm just overthinking it.
