Volunteering

I'm looking at volunteering for the first time this year, planning on doing so at Latitude.
Just wondering if anyone has an experience of doing so, or any advice they could send my way.

Work out your costs. 

You almost certainly will have to pay a deposit that is fractionally higher than the ticket price, which you probably won't get back until a month + after the festival (depending on which stewarding company). 

Research different companies, some have longer but fewer shifts, some let you choose them, some don't, some provide meals, others vouchers, others take costs from your deposit. 

Be prepared to be tired. The shifts are still work, albeit fairly pleasant.
