mazza7
Was speaking about this with some mates the other day - we were trying to think of any acts we'd seen who weren't as good as we hoped they would be (So I don't mean if you went and watched an act that you either didn't like beforehand or you knew they weren't good live). I think I've been lucky in that about 95% of the acts I've ever seen at T have at least been decent. But a few that stand out for me are: Razorlight in 2009 - I thought they would be perfect before the killers with some good songs to singalong to, however, their performance was completely flat, it seemed they were just trying to get on and off range as quickly as possible and think they were getting booed by the end of the set. The Editors in 2010 - A band I really liked at the time but thought they were really disappoint on that occasion. There was no real engagement with the audience and I think the sound was a bit off too. I don't think it helped them being on before Faithless. The Stone Roses in 2012 - They were ok. I had got it into my head that they were going to be amazing but I forgot that Ian Brown isn't great at performing live and again there wasn't much of an atmosphere where I was - was surrounded by arsehole day-trippers from Manchester. Noel Gallagher was much better before them IMO
hamishrankin
Probably going to receive a lot of hate for this but Beady Eye 2013, mostly cause I lost my phone but did not seem to be entertained at all

KrisKyle
Embrace - forget the year(lead singer couldn't sing worth a hoot), The Who - 2005?(dull, dull, dull...like a bunch of OAPS on stage, oh wait), The Stone Roses - 2012(all hype no blow)
Fezzy_buzzer
Arctic monkeys last year were terrible. I've not been able to appreciate them as much since that night. I think it's because they used to such a good live band now Turner has took this new 'cool' approach and they are just shit! Didn't help that biffy completely blew us away on the Friday night
leeawilliams19
Ye arctic monkeys should have been Saturday

taylorswift
Agree with Arctic Monkeys last year. Was really looking forward to seeing them as I finally got into them but they were just really unexciting? For the closing headliner you'd think they would've put on a more lively performance. Watching them on the telly at Reading made it more gutting as that was how I expected them to be like at T. Wish I got to see them there instead. JackLlewelyn
Again, Arctic Monkeys last year. Been a fan for years was first time seeing them so probably hyped myself up a bit to much? Either way found them boring.
The Man with a Plan
It doesn't help that Alex Turner is a knob.
ReleaseTheJam
Another vote for the Arctic's last year, found myself trying really hard to get into it. it really started to do my head in the way Alex was speaking to the crowd, thgought it was dead patronising!! Back in 2010, i was also pissed off with D12 in the slam tent. I wasn't expecting Eminem to come on with them or anything, but to not play Purple Pills was shite! They just came on stage and went, "when i say D, you say 12" the whole time! i felt like i just shouted "12" the whole gig.
Shootenanny!
In terms of bands I actually really like I'd agree with Arctic Monkeys and Beady Eye, thought Fratellis last time they played were a bit of let down although a lot of the blame could be pointed at the crowd for that one, didn't seem to be interested other than Chelsea Dagger. harryomatic
Yep Arctic Monkeys last year for me too. Especially as they were so good in 2011 Really enjoyed Chase and Status in Tuts in 2011, but was hugely disappointed with them on main stage in 2012. seumasbeathan
Was really looking forward to Arctic Monkeys last year, however last minute we ended up seeing Disclosure instead, they were absolutely incredible. Was still quite disappointed I didn't see AM, but not now haha.
devilman
Babyshambles without a doubt. Went to watch as I really like some of their songs. Walked away hating that jumped up prick Doherty.
The Man with a Plan
Babyshambles without a doubt. Went to watch as I really like some of their songs. Walked away hating that jumped up prick Doherty. He does seem to be an absolute spoiled arsehole who is unreliable and in the past has cancelled gigs because he got too drunk/high. It's a shame that people like him get everything when the people at the bottom who try really hard don't get it. People on here seem to love him though despite his personality. Craig Mcfarlane
Agree with everyone about arctic monkeys last year but I've got another 2 that stick out from previous years. I was looking forward to seeing primal scream for the first time and they decided they wouldn't play any of their hits and just played there whole new album that no one had heard then red hot chilli peppers, loved there stuff for years but when they played it was just totally flat, I was actually bored and left before they finished
kezzawizz
AM last year.....just bloody awful. We left before the end. Should have been Biffy on the Sunday!!
MichaelR1967
First time at titp last year and also have to say AM. They were the main reason I bought a ticket as well.
richardashcroft
Ian Brown the year he kicked off with his own crew that was an awful gig agree about the scream was 2002 before oasis altho every other time they've played since they have been great the strokes in 2011 ( I think) were pretty poor also
devilman
Why are people so surprised at how poor the AM were last year? They have always been shite live and will always be shite. They have great music but zero charisma or stage presence. I don't know how they got so big so fast.
