Family camping (east)

Does anyone have any idea of how quickly family camping on east fills up (cockmill meadow)? First time with our son and no experience in camping there before. Hoping to arrive in East Car parks early doors Weds.

We got there around 10.30 a.m. in 2013 and it was about half full. Think it was pretty much full by lunchtime. If you're there for gates opening, or soon after, you'll have no problem finding a spot, but the later you are, the further up the field you'll need to go.

Thanks. We're staying in shepton mallet on tues so as long as there's no major traffic issues and we pick up purple route OK we should be fine.

Yeah, you should be sound. I'd like to stay there again this year with our boy, but we're on a coach arriving around 5 p.m. so it'll be full. How old is yours? Any other questions, give us a shout!

He's 15 months. This will be our 6th year but it feels very different in the prep. Been searching for tips so feel sort of prepared but im expecting a few ups and downs this year. Still as excited as ever - cant wait. Thanks again for the info.
