Reading all the feedback with interest. If there are now 75,000 tickets officially sold, plus who knows how many more people blagging in - then on the Friday evening and Saturday in particular, it's not ridiculous to suggest there's 50,000 people at Mordor, which is a stadium gig - except with much worse sight lines, an inferior PA, and far less bars and toilets. The Thursday evening in 2022 was of course infamous but on the Friday night for Beck I was trapped about 150m from the stage, surrounded by chatters, and with no prospect of getting nearer the stage. With hindsight that was when I realised the fest had one way or another fundamentally changed. Also noting on Reddit that some folk didn't enjoy the Cure or Gorillaz because the sets were "too long". In future bands may be better received if they actually just play their top 10 Spotify songs then get back off the stage.
This keeps being mentionned but it only happened because Dua's Europe Tour was rescheduled due to Covid. Dua's arena show was initially planned for October 2021 but got rescheduled to May 2022 a month after the PS2022 lineup was announced.
I hope Massive Attack and Doja get to come back. I guess it'll depend whether they have a summer tour planned next year.
Solo album on the way for the singer of a certain band. Il leave the name of the act out and see if anyone listening can guess.... its er rather obvious lol
