The resale thread

Be vigilant with the 'secret resales' - they're not even secret. They'll tell you which week they're going to release 'the last few tickets'. If it's possible that you can stay in front of or near a computer during a week in mid-May then I can pretty much guarantee you'll get a ticket...

This certainly seemed true last year, that's when I got mine, and watched with jubilation while others posted here for 20 minutes about how they had tickets, simultaneously crying, half shouting along to Arcade Fire (which I was playing loudly after having banned myself from listening to them following official resale failure), half shouting down the phone to my friend that "WE'RE FUCKING GOING TO GLASTONBURY!". My yelling was so garbled that she had no idea what was going on, just picked up the phone to a load of incoherent screaming, her replies were "What is it? I can't hear what you're saying. I need you to slow down, do you need me to come over? Are you ok? Where are you?".

Quite a number of us sat and stewed in that thread for days, posting endless bullshit, all nerve endings fried. It was the best ever time on efests.

Glastonbury is THIS YEAR, we're at the home stretch. To help lift the spirits of all those who will be getting tickets in the resale (yes, will be getting tickets), here is a thread of positiveness and good vibes where we can keep each other going, share helpful information and tip, etc.

Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more!

See above, a depiction of your elation when you arrive in June. The harder it's earned, the sweeter it tastes.

Good idea, I also like the positivity. I failed in the main sale, having been successful every year since they went online, so will be keeping everything crossed and checking in here regularly for tips and info. Good luck to everyone who needs it!!

So I've got to try an get a ticket for a friend of mine who stupidly didn't register and then BAM I got Tickets.....

If I fail in April, what's the best way to keep my ear to the ground about these 'secret' sales in May? I saw in a thread before some people have programs which let you know when a specific website URL changes it's layout?? I.E: A seetickets or Glasto page linking to SEE changes from sold out to available?!
