I hope so! But we only did Glastonbury last year, so don't have priority booking for this year. Last year we failed in the first attempt but managed to get slots in late April or early May, when Oxfam released more volunteering spaces 😁

I think you just have to accept that you were exceptionally lucky!! I've been a regular since 1997, although did do volunteering with Oxfam last year, but no joy this time round.

I've been successful every year since 1997, apart from this year. At first I got them myself through sheer perseverance but more recently relying on friends with faster internet connections. I knew my luck would run out one day but we were luckily able to get volunteering places with Oxfam in the second release. Not feeling that confident about ticket day in October this year!

Good idea, or there could be a 2000 word essay to complete on how well you understand and intend to comply with the "Love the Farm, Leave no Trace" pledge. To be marked and graded by Emily and Michael or other family members as they see fit. Anyone getting less than, say 60% for their essay is a "no go" for tickets that year. Yes I am being a bit tongue in cheek in suggesting this but it riles me to see the continuing mass of litter etc. If only there was a way of tracing the culprits!!

I would be very interested to hear what they say as my other half is in a similar position. I think the person he put down as reference might be on holiday until the end of the week and probably isn't the sort of person to check emails while away!

I would recommend keeping on trying the Oxfam route. I only got my place because I checked on here and people said there were still being places released this afternoon due to duplicate bookings. I wouldn't be surprised if a few more of these come up. Also if people haven't completed their profiles within 24 hours, those places might possibly come up again. People in the know say to keep checking all along as places could be cancelled before the festival. Good luck

So my advice would be if you do get through to the page but it says sold out or unavailable keep the page open and keep hitting proceed. That’s how I eventually got mine after about two hours of doing this on and off

Brilliant thanks that would be really helpful. In my opinion, it's a shame everyone has to do an individual booking session and they don't allow booking for a friend or partner at the same time.

That's interesting to hear. I wonder when they will release the duplicate bookings? My OH was able to get one for himself but not for me. I tried too but got nowhere near 😕

Not sure, I think there might be more than one event they are offering tickets for but I don't know how it works yet. Hopefully off to buy my SIM now!
